It's not about "enjoying" Xp loss, it's about feeling good to overcome the challenge.
If you personally don't enjoy that particular challenge (lvl95+, max lvl, whatever it might be) then thats FINE you don't have to be max lvl to do literally anything the game has to offer.

What challenge? Exp loss is fake difficulty at its finest. It doesn't make the game harder in any way. Its pointless and wastes your time, nothing else.

Why can't I just turn it off in the settings and enjoy the game how I want to? It would be nice to just passively get exp and eventually reach high levels on my own pace. But apparently I also need to play in the ladder and "race to 100" like everyone else. It's ridiculous. Like games are supposed to be fun, losing hours and hours of your mapping is not fun. It's that simple.


Your literally spending your whole existence in this forum complaining about how unfairly hard exp loss is making the game for you.

But then whenever someone gives you this argument you try to turn it around and say that exp loss doesnt add any difficulty.

So which is it? Because if exp loss doesnt add any difficulty then what is the problem your having? Why remove it at all? You complain so much about it but apparently it doesnt do anything? So lets do nothing about it then I guess...?

It makes the game harder by forcing you to take defense into account, meaning you have less of other stats like mobility and damage.
It makes the game harder by you having less exp, therefore less levels, which means less stats and skill points.

Stealing hours of progress from players who don't die often is not difficulty.

Seems like the only players telling others to go defense are rolling with ES, they seem to not understand the poor defensive options and health scaling on the Armor Evasion side of the tree

If I only lost the XP in my current map I would agree, the problem is taking away what I already earned.

Again, I wouldn't have a problem with it if I could recover XP from my corpse

GGG - Why you no?
Logged in. T15 map lv79 titan. Leap slam kinda fun to play. Want to test things. Get experience with the game. Forgot Im already half through the level. Doesnt matter at this point anyways, a t15 is still almost a level. Can do it in 5-10minutes. Got a melee dude with a bubble and got temporal chains on top. Just got run down even with leap. Sick of reading this stupid maps all the time. Just ran into the same mob three times. Map gone. Came to my mind from that weird mental spot this game pushes me into. AltF4. Now Im reporting here. Not gonna play again tonight. GG

I mean, regardless of the details that's definitely what it feels like. The game snatches away hours and hours of your progress the moment you die in 0.1 seconds. You feel robbed. It just feels bad. So the game is stealing people's progress and all the time they spent farming maps. Because when you die and that exp bar goes down then all that mapping is just deleted and it feels like you did X hours of maps for no reason now. It just sucks.
haha...yeah you cant steal experience. You cant take it away from people in any shape or form.

I agree. And yet, i keep fucking playing. O,o Except for the use of the word stealing. We all know the rules...

Yep I had temporal chains and ran into a rare with proximity bubble + mana drain + fast movement speed(the map didn't have movement speed on monsters) + would cast multiple red circles almost simultaneously that would drain half my HP.

Skill issue my ass, enemies like that shouldn't exist especially when It was like a T12 map not even fully juiced. Having proximity dmg on top of mana drain is a broken mechanic
