i hope this is a big lesson learned for later content. we want loot. we dont want this slow pace 1 divine a year stuff. and with the character speed. it needs a big buff please stop being so stubborn Jonathan. if you want the best game ever made then make the speed feel more like poe 1. thanks so much for the update. im not a baby ive still being suffering throught the whole time. THANKS GGG FR

too little too late. At this point I won't even be returning for next league. The small adjustments are not going to cut it. 30% increases here and a 10% decrease there is doing nothing. It needs a massive overhaul. The game does not respect your time and effort.
Guaranteeing that one (almost guaranteed useless) rare item will drop from a boss and making that a notable patch note just goes to show how out of touch the people making these decisions are. Meanwhile Last Epoch is just straight up fun.... I'll roll 10 new characters in LE and have a swell time before I hop back on POE 2. I'll be looking forward to the next POE 1 patch tho. I should add that Path of Exile 2 (and POE 1 to an extent) is the only game I can think of where you can hop on and grind for 6 hours and lose progress. You will lose XP in the end game, you will lose currency by running bosses and gambling in an attempt to craft your own items. I can honestly say that I believe the business model for POE 2 is to push people to engage in RMT - I feel like it's very likely someone in the mix at GGG/Tencent etc. etc. is benefitting from the rampant RMT that plagues these games. It's a multi-multi-million dollar unregulated industry. To think individuals at these companies aren't looking for a piece of that pie is incredibly naive. It's sad that this seems to be one of the most logical explanations for the state of the game. Dernière édition par _warborn#6427, le 1 mai 2025 à 17:45:26

People misunderstand the issue somehow.
Loot is abundant, just not diverse. If you kill 10,000 rare monsters in PoE 1, they will drop less divine orbs than in PoE 2. BUT, you don't care about that, because that is not the main thing you drop that have value. You can farm a ton of different content that all reward you specific loot that has value. You don't care to not find divine orbs in poe 1. In fact currency drops are a meaningless feature. You may even decide it's not worth it to loot chaos orbs if you farm something too valuable to spend time picking meaningless chaos orbs. The game does not have a loot problem, it's just lacking an endgame. Years spent making a campaign nobody can love because nobody ever plays those games to get lost in the campaign forever. It can be 5 hours long, but it cannot ever be 15, 20, 40, whatever it takes people. This is a punishment and guarantee an extreme amount of people will quit before they reach maps. But the loot is not the issue, the variety of the loot is. People can farm essences in PoE 1 and make huge profit per hour. They do not care if they never drop a single divine orb while farming essences. Because those essences will net them a ton of value. If you farm essences in PoE 2, you cannot say: Well, that's my main thing now, this generate my profit. It's nowhere close. You can make 15d/hour farming essences in poe 1. You cannot make much of anything farming essences in poe 2, it's just a side-dish, a tiny bonus. How have we lost this atlas specialization that everyone have loved for years on PoE 1. The main innovation we've had has been reduced to 40 points that has very little specific effects. You cannot target farm very specific content. Like have 150 passives and invest 30 of them in essences or strongboxes. The monsters drop a lot of loot, but that's not the issue. Rare monsters drop way more currency than in poe 1. They drop more divines. But what else am I chasing after? Good rare items? Rare uniques? Tablets I can sell for 20 ex? We need specialization in endgame. I can switch what I farm in PoE 1 all the time. I'll do Einhar with Essences for a while, then I go and do Jun + Harvest... then it's breach + scarab farm... then it's strongboxes + Alva. I want this sort of scalable endgame, that is the main hook on poe 1, that you always feel you can do something different. Too much time creating a campaign that is universally disliked, too little time remaking a real endgame that was fleshed out for years on PoE 1. It also should not be the very same thing. Let PoE 1 keep Heist, let PoE 2 have it's own side-content. Something that is uniquely part of PoE 2, not recycled over. I do love the game as it is, just wish we carried some of the best things from poe 1 over... without speeding up the game to nauseating level where visual clarity is a mess. I was hyped when i read the headline, but not anymore. Here is why.
I dont have a probelem with drops (hell, make them even rarer) but when there is a drop I want it to be good. Im not excited about loot, the stats are kinda meh, we even have light radius, i dont actually want to look at items as most of them are super meh, need more interesting stats. And uniques are not giving any excitemt, most of the time they are just 1alch items, and chase unique good luck finding them. I think items need a rework not a drop evaluation. And item art is so good, why the thumbnails are so small, as its still 1998. Though i hate to admit d2 still was better at itemization somehow. love poe2 keep up the gud work, its gonna be a great game. |

Lol, they are doubling down on magic find....

That is incorrect way of reading it.
They are buffing the inner rarity of monsters. So even in storyline, without scaling from towers and map mods, a unique monster should drop more valuable loot. Basically, less scaling from tablets, map mods and gear, more loot if you kill monsters in a map without rarity on it. Dernière édition par screaminjay#6186, le 1 mai 2025 à 19:25:44

In order to find loot more easily, it helps to be able to gain access to being able to fight Pinnacle Content more easily. We have made the following changes here:
Breach splinter drop rates have been increased by +50% Delirium splinter drop rates have been increased by +80% The chance of finding Audiences with the King in Ritual is increased by +50% NOOOOOOOOOO! The price of many items is already falling and this will practically kill the farm and reduce prices drastically, even more. |
