Item Changes in Path of Exile 2
Well, definitely finding more rare items in maps, finding more exalts and what not, but still experiencing hang ups and map resets. The game just feels, meh. Personally, I think the game needs a lot of work and find tuning. Obviously they won't be able to please everyone, and I think they came out of the gate with such a huge success, its going to be hard to keep up the expectations.

Gold drops shouldn't be in the same pool as itwm drops. Gold should never be able to take the place of an item.
On top of that, it doesn't matter if you get rarer items if you are only getting 3 items per mob at most. Drops are not only unrewarding, but extremely unexciting. A rare item dropping means nothing most of the times. Floor items are never good enough. It doesn't matter how much you tweak the quantity and rarity, that point will never change. The amount of good floor items you find is miniscule, making changes to the oberall quality of them pointless. If you want floor items to have meaning make them unable to have low rolls, or useless mods. Make the crafting better, to make those items worth something. Moving the bar up and down with the rarity is not going to accomplish anything. Because 0*400 is still 0. |

Did 10 T15, nothing seems to change about drop rates. Items still crap. And why the fuq gold is in the same pool as items? Who is the genius behind this?
Also, I would love to know why with almost 2k hp, 73% evasion, 70+ resistances, except for trash chaos res at 20, I still get one shot from nothing. Not even a death recap we have to understand what killed us. Or do I need the "VISION" to understand it? Time to uninstall this pos game and go back to anything that doesn't feel a chore even when you think about it. |

I recently rolled a warrior, and during the Ritual encounters, I quickly realized how punishing the mechanics can be. The attack damage I gained by sacrificing attack speed ended up being useless — the screen was just flooded with purple orbs, and I couldn’t even stand still long enough to get a single skill off. On top of that, despite stacking high resists and armor, my warrior still got one-shot by some unknown enemy off-screen. At this point, I totally get why everyone just plays Lightning Spear — it’s the only thing that seems to survive and dish out damage in this chaos.
Honestly, I think the current design makes it really hard for slower or melee-focused builds to feel viable, especially in high-pressure encounters like Rituals. Maybe consider tuning down the visual clutter and giving players a bit more breathing room to react — or at least make high armor and resistances feel meaningful. I'd love to see more build diversity thrive, not just lightning-spamming glass cannons. |

Amazing patch GGG, not perfect but a huge step in the right direct direction! I ran multiple sekhema trials and had a freaking blast! Before the patch I only found ONE Divine Orb by lvl 91!! I have since found 3 more! I feel like I can actually begin to craft great now.. Late is better than never.
Please bring other playstyles up to the level of lightning spear or at least closer to it (I refuse to play the boring meta everyone else plays so im running an off-meta rake, spear field, companion hybrid build) Tons of fun btw! But it required enormous investment and only really got playable for late game mapping after lvl 80+. This shouldn't be the case. Either way I am thankful for all the hard work from the devs at GGG! |
