Further Changes From Today

As a 0 movement speed boots having Warrior, I wish the monsters would be faster so that I could kill them more easily. I do not understand the issue with monster speed really - get resistances, armour and evasion up, as well as stun resistance, problem solved.

Also advance more slowly. I've never had a problem with getting swarmed. If you need to retreat, retreat back to where you came from so you don't engage more monsters along the way.
PLEASE FIX THE EUROPEAN SERVERS PLEASE, WE ARE GETTING DISCONNECTED AND GOT ROLLING BACK IN THE MORNING FOR 4 DAYS NOW. WE KEEP LOOSING PROGRESS AND RESOURSES!

I agree with you. No come back possible. Movement speed never was the issue with mobs, loots and ways to upgrade your character is. So now, players would ask (and already ask) for more loots, they will get it, and maybe after that they would ask for a movement speed potion to move faster...

And again, I agree that we need to listen to players who cant go through act 2 end boss because you cant let a part of community struggling too much on the game.
But in general, issues is more about how do you feel rewarded in PoE2 and tools you get to improve your character, not about nerfing ennemies or boss cause a lot of players can go through without dying as HC players (so its doable).

I really dont like this step in direction of "if you ask to nerf the game, we can do it". I would rather prefer a step in direction of "we heard you need more rewards and there it is" !!!


The absolute only issue with the campaign is that there's too many bad skills and even somebody who's reasonably proficient at video games but new to poe could put together a build of skills that apparently synergize, take passives, supports, etc that all synergize and then they sit there doing no damage.

Most people might try something else, go online and ask what they are doing wrong or just give in and follow a build guide. Or maybe just quit since that experience turned them off.

But we have a special section of this community who don't do any of that and just complain incessantly even though the tools are there to turn the campaign in to a joke, but the options are limited.

If those people are both following build guides through the campaign and still can't get past Act 1 or 2.. at this point there's no reason GGG should have to dumb down the experience for everybody else just to make a small section of very loud people happy.

But the overall balance of builds when doing the campaign needs some serious work. If the game offers you a selection of skills and 60% of them suck, something is wrong.


And again, you are talking about skills and the fact that skills sucks (for you) but the main issue is not the skill but itself, its the weapon that gives you 99% of the power of skill at early game !!!

Imagine, you play the game, its hard at beginning, you finally got the end boss of act 1 and Renly gives you as a reward "a choice between 3 rares weapons you carry". Its a good reward from beating end boss of act 1 and you are now doing a lot more dmg and you have the feeling skills are strong !!!

There are multiple ways to help player going through campaign, wihtout nerfing ennemies or improving dmg of skills !!! And by doing that, as a player, you feel really rewarded for killing a boss that terrorize a part of the world !!

Would you mind please share your link of PoB to see which character and what gears do you play? I'm wondering how it is possible that you are that positive when other's (like mine) character is completely bricked and unplayable.

We need base movement speed
If I can add my 2c, another campaign boss that seems a lot of people have been suffering and finding unejoyable is act 2 boss, maybe reducing its life a bit.
I'm really afraid the game gets too easy and thus boring because people complaining without knowing any game mechanic.
Seeing what other people do complaining how hard it is the conclusion is it's not the game.

Huntress totally OP in early campaign. Monk and sorceress too. Everything self found or bought from npc vendors.

Don't know how endgame is yet. Campaign in 0.1 was 100% more difficult.

To solve the problem it would be great to have Leagues for different difficulties. Like "easy" "normal" or something like this.

Myself I believe main problem is monsters dps, white mobs 2 tap me, even worse for ranged mobs that stay behind meanwhile you get swarmed by tons of mobs and it becomes an endless kite back and forth.

That's actually brilliant idea!
When the game no longer feels challenging because of nerfs I don’t see how people have fun lol. When they make the game a dash spam and one shot everything i personally won’t have fun but I guess I’m the minority with that opinion. This is the reason Diablo 3 died after initial launch. Kids cried about the game being too hard and a real money auction house. Devs made the game easier and took away the real money auction house and the game became too easy and died. Guess time will tell with this one.
