Further Changes From Today

UXMAL CHANGES SOUND GREAT! It was very frustrating to see my freeze buildup go down as it flew away slowly and casually. Less movement should be really good. Hope that applies to that similar boss in Act 3.

One thing which I would love to see worked on is some way to make it easier to see damaging area of effects when there are a lot of friendly effects going on. This is a good example of how hard it can be to see both the mobs you are fighting and anything you need to get out of when you are in a group:

Imagine, you play the game, its hard at beginning, you finally got the end boss of act 1 and Renly gives you as a reward "a choice between 3 rares weapons you carry". Its a good reward from beating end boss of act 1 and you are now doing a lot more dmg and you have the feeling skills are strong !!!

There are multiple ways to help player going through campaign, wihtout nerfing ennemies or improving dmg of skills !!! And by doing that, as a player, you feel really rewarded for killing a boss that terrorize a part of the world !!


I play HC SSF. I've fully completed the campaign more times than I'd care to admit. If I have to make a new character, I typically don't even use any sort of cracked alt gear because that's boring to me and I try to do something new build wise. I have basically zero issue getting through the campaign without dying at this point. I know exactly what to look for with weapons or any other piece of equipment.

None of that is going to fix the fact there's too many bad skills that even for me, someone who actually really enjoys the campaign(if I didn't id just use cracked alt gear, add sockets, etc and zoom through it), it makes it painfully slow and or clunky to go through. And for a lot of other people it probably results in a lot of deaths and frustration.

Making useless skills not useless anymore is not nerfing the difficulty of the game, it's literally just basic common sense game development. If you give players tools to use, they should be able to use them else why do they even exist?

They don't need to be nerfing monster damage, speed, handing out rare weapons or dropping lots more currency. They just need to balance the most important part of the game, the skills we use. Including some on the other end which just trivialize the game.


I need to understand, what are the bad skills for you in huntress ???

Are you just talking about not enough dmg skills, or bad design ?

Because right now, Im discussing with some mates and a lot of us played differently at beginning of campaign :
- Some players played around whirling slash and tornadoes and barrage later (I discovered very latelay you can stack 3 stages of whirling slash to release more tornadoes xD),
- Others (like me) played around explosive spear then storm lance and lighting spear
- Others around bleeding with rake, rapid assault, spearfield
- And finally some players played around parry, to generate frenzy then a skill using it (it was before they add cull the weak)

And all of us, can get through campaign !!! And personnaly, I died for the 1rst time in act 3 so my build was okay.

So again, if GGG decide to upgrade dmg of skills, they would make it more easy and then, trivialize this game for players like us. There are other ways to make this game more enjoyable (with rewards) than just upgrading dmg of skills that would totally destabilize the pace of the game
Really nice changes, especially the minion revive timer changes, but PLEASE add:

Offerings have 500% more maximum life OR offerings gain maximum life equal to the sacrificed minion's health. My offerings have 1230 life, while my skeletal warrior have 6663. This is completely wrong, since I lose a skeleton to get a buff (which is lost upon being killed), the HP cannot be so low.

Raging spirits' spirits summoned per fire spell cast increased from 2 to 3. 2 spirits per cast is too low, please increase it to 3!!!!

I have a solution for the people that think the game is too hard. Either give the option like in FPS games for Easy, Medium, Hard or give them an option in their settings that makes them so they cannot die no matter what aka Godmode.
This make it fun for the kids but make the game harder for people that actually want a challenge. Thanks
