bro, stop making excuses for those who got banned. They didn't got banned for discovering the exploit, they got ban for abusing it. If you find a bug you are supposed to report it, not milk it to gain a shit load of mirrors pretending is "intended" to let you do that.

What about that would be the tell tale sign to a player that it is a bug and not an intended feature if the math for what you are doing is accurate and available in the game?

We literally applaud content creators who minmax the hell out of their rarity setups in 6-man groups to maximize profits, and yet we just banned a bunch of players for effectively doing the same thing with a different game mechanic?

Not sure how I feel about 'Rares always shown on minimap'.

This is a massive change to end-game, and seems like pandering to certain people.

You have not existed in this community NEARLY long enough to feel any kind of way.
Almost all changes here are good. Temporary fix for a sense of progression in campaign would be to (temporary) set a baseline rarity, let's say 50 %. No one wants to spend their dozen exalts and regals in campaign currently. Also, please change your stance on movement speed on boots. You can lower the highrange if needed, but either add them as implicit or heavily up the weight modifier for ms on boots.
Edit: I personally don't NEED ms to zoom better, just be able to move out of boss abilities if I anticipated them.

let’s not pretend people got banned for finding it once. They got banned for farming it relentlessly, knowing full well how busted it was

I'm not trying to gaslight anyone. People nowadays are lazy, that's it. They want everything as fast as possible with minimal effort. That's why 1-button zoom zoom gameplay is praised by them so much. But it's not fun when those builds ruin economy or when you join random people and everyone plays the same build which deletes screens of mobs in seconds. And it's even less fun when the game is balanced around those builds (that's why I stopped with PoE 1).

ARPGs are designed around the concept of min-maxing in character development. Quite literally the point is to reduce effort and maximize output. Calling the participation in that process 'lazy' is implying that participating in the game as the game is intended and the efforts associated with getting to that point are lazy which is just flat out inaccurate.

I mean, I'm not against powerful builds if you sped alot of currency/time to get them. Something like endgame goal. But zooming thru maps with cheap builds because something is overtuned is bullshit. And I still think that combo based gameplay should be required at any levels in order to be effective.

I assure you if its that powerful it won't be 'cheap' for long. That's the whole point of a trade economy, it's self healing. The stuff that is good will be expensive and if you are a player that is dependent on trade for getting gear the better the build you are going for the more expensive it is going to be.

You know how people will say things like "Everyone should have to spend a couple of years working a customer service role just so they understand what it is like and get a better appreciation for the people who perform labor for their benefit"? I feel this way about SSF. Play a season relying on yourself to make builds strong and the economy will feel less important to you as a player.
I don’t understand the Arc change. Arc is not a payoff skill being linked to Cast on Shock. What is someone supposed to do to get a group of enemies shocked before casting their clear skill? Can we just get Arcs added damage buffed and cast time massively reduced? Can it get its more damage per remaining chain back so its not trash for single target?

And who is cssting a bunch of orbs before sending out Eye of Winter? That seems like something no one would do without Kitava’s Thirst.
