Like polytheist's small nodes are AWFUL. Light radius? 5% defense?

Put on your Wreath of Phrecia for 40% increased damage + 20% increased area of effect, then farm Whakawairua Tuahu with an extra 40% increased item quantity and 80% increased item rarity!

This event seems to become THE MOST FUN, UNBALANCED, and UNHINGED ARPG content that have been EVER made!!!!!!
Diablo 4, poe 2, and even original poe 1 content will be outplayed by those 19 ascendancies!

I'm really confused about the Surfcaster small nodes, what is the point of this or how does it fit the ascendancy?
The funny thing is that, although not universally useful, there's already a debuff called "Drench" in the game and would fit the Surfcaster much better flavor wise.
I'd prefer "increased effect of non-damaging ailments" though, since the ascendancy is pretty reliant on chill/freeze/shock

My GOD, what is that small node on my boy Surfcaster. We know it is Zoom, Zoom, but 5% chance to flee per small node. NOOOOOOOO!!!!

Do we have info, explodes from Obliteration will work with attack skills on Scavenger ascendancy?

Sorry white-knighting is unlocked at 10 challenges, try again once you've actually played the game.

As a complete sanctum noob, isn't flee a good thing for a class that looks hand-made for peenbrand sanctum farming? Less mob uptime on aggro? less resolve damage potentially taken?

Am I stupid (yes), do i just not know how this works (no)?

What a reason to remove : Aspect of spider has no reservation on Shadow (Arakali)
What a reson to take this ascendancy if its like suffix on rare item!
