This is a great game being hampered by those that want it to be a slot machine.

" I'm okay with there being less of PoE 1 in terms of the obscene and unfun zoomy slot machine nature that exists there too, arguably worse with the insane amount of dog shit trash loot the game throws at you (I've seen videos of players with item filters on and it still fills up the entire screen, literally, that's just so bad). What I want from PoE 1 is things like the QoL achievements to be carried over and the lessons learned. I don't EVER look at PoE 1 and think 'wow this would be so fun to play with my friends in a party together' which is unfortunate. PoE 2 campaign however, WAS really fun to play with my friends. Endgame is not. I think that's really the biggest critical issue right now and the slot machine zoomzoom nature is really the hinge upon which that entire issue rotates, if endgame is changed to move away from that and back towards campaign flow, then enemies get more health in parties (I'm fine with this) and even a slight HP buff overall, alongside nerfs to the zoom builds to bring them a little bit more in line with campaign flow and a buff to the slower builds to bring them up to par, then when the game's slowed down a bit more like campaign, buff the loot to compensate a bit so people don't actually feel compelled to zoom just to be acquiring a mediocre rate of currency. These factors all combine together to make for a bad endgame experience, and a really bad multiplayer experience. If they got tweaked like they should, hopefully, then the game would be something that is capable of pleasing everyone pretty well. |

The RNG in this game is absolutely horrible.
If I wanted to gamble, I'd go to Las Vegas - I'd have far better luck. |

Yeah I always thought this game would turn out "smarter" than poe1, but it seems they want it to be just as dumb and mindless.
