FadeXF only imagines that everyone else is getting away with something he's not because he forgets how obnoxious his posts could be (some of us know we can be obnoxious and take the ban as it comes, acknowledging our own behaviour). The problem with your theory is that I can rip pieces of several threads (including this one) and outline specific posters who are posting personal attacks and are getting away completely scott-free... and then I personally have experienced prob after saying far far less.

There is no conspiracy theory.

In fact here's a snippit of just 1 email I've sent (I haven't bothered taking apart ALL of the garbage I see on a daily basis - it would be simply too time consuming):

I completely agree with the issues you've brought up, and will be
contacting those involved immediately. I've removed the probation on
******'s account and will apologise to them now.

Also, ****** has now been placed on probation for personal attacks.

And frankly: I don't care if you believe this is a forgery - I've been absolutely nothing but honest on these forums - on my feelings about the game - on my endeavors in to HC in reporting truthfully my progress and how I fared - my monetary support of this game/GGG... and now here on this personal email from GGG support.

So you can banter on and on about conspiracy - but there is for sure a double standard for posting in which mods who are defending this game are allowing jackwads to personally attack and flame away at non-GGG-defendors who might have outlined several items/solutions/ideas for the game.

So ya - get on your tinfoil hat. Seems you need one.

Doesn't make your (regular) statement about the scope of the mods so-called failure to properly mod these forums valid at all. The accusations you sling aren't balanced, is all I'm saying.

You say all these other people are getting away with all this outrageous name-calling, abuse, etc. but it's just not true - not to the level you're implying, at least. The level it IS happening at is pretty average at worst and at best, better than a lot of forums out there.

I'm talking about the claims that the forums are so unbalanced and unfair (as far as moderation goes) that everyone is not being held to the same standards. It's kinda like the conspiracy theory about the game dying after people see their friends list emptying and other signs of lower player count. Just cos they see that does not mean the game is "dying". It may, in fact, be dying utterly - but I argue against random extrapolations from anecdotal "evidence" - like your failed mods claim. You see a few "naughty" posts slipping through the gap so you decide the mods aren't "being fair". All I'm saying is there's not enough evidence, by any stretch, to claim that.
