Got this little piece of armor for 15c, gonna go for something better later, but this will do for now, i got capped resistances with my tabula already, so now, since the new armor piece has resistances, I can look at some improvements for my other gear slots. Did my first deathless L8 awakener... near maxblock is really good this league.
I was playing this https://pastebin.com/x94aL5zC but basic principle is the same just do your own thing while you block most things. I actually just made it from the my old duel wielding near maxblock glad which I played earlier in the league while the storms were still broken. |

Been messing around with some changes. Swapped from close combat to impale support. With that I've also switched to lacerate. I don't think it quite competes with single target dps, but does feel better with maps. Keeping a bit of a distance vs bosses is also nice.

The idea of this build is a tanky bosskiller and I don't think you can find a better skill than bladestorm for that. Clear is ok but not great. But if clear is what you're looking for then it's way better to play a bow or spell caster. Melee will never be able to compete against that. Even Lacerate of Reave which are not real melee.

" Yeah for sure. I might swap back to bladestorm soon, just felt like mixing it up a bit to try things out. I was playing a glacial hammer berserker for a bit. Clear speed & single target both pretty decent (swapping ancestral call of course), but i find the build up of berserker not as nice. I may try a champion build with lacerate, we'll see. If I'm using a skill marked melee, usually feels melee enough for me :) |

Wondering if it's worth investing the 2ex for a 21/23 close combat support gem.
Hard to get an idea of gains since it's not supported by PoB. Anybody with experience have any idea? Struggling to find damage upgrades right now it's one of my few gems that is still 20/20 Edit: I went ahead and did it. since i had some currency to burn. Feels nice. I am about to buy a 6 link astral plate, how do I go about crafting something like the chest you have. I believe it would have to be fossil crafted to have the -15 to mana.
