Yep, dx11 is so good. damn
zizarian with the GTX 1080ti with 10 FPS, but some dumb in Forum think dx11 is super omega optimized. It makes me laugh.

i7-8700k at 4.7GHz on all cores
32GB PC-3200
GTX-1080ti 11GB stock clocks

With every option set to max at 1080p, I get 125+fps in Oriath standing next to as many particle fountains as the screen can render. While playing, it never dips below 200fps even with mass explosions from heralds or ED/Contagion. This is a big performance increase from Delve for me. I do play solo, though.

One thing I have noticed is that the game gobbles up a ton of ram. Afterburner is showing 12+ GB in use with only 35%-ish CPU usage while my GPU sits at 98+% with less than 4GB in use. That looks like some shitty coding to me. It should be using more of the GPU ram, IMO.

Your streamer example only works if he is using either a 2 PC streaming setup or hardware encoding. If he's using x264 on the same rig he uses to play, that could explain his fps drops.

Thansk for the reply.
Apparently there are still decent people in the Forum who makes decent reply rather than talk to other people to buy a new PC or quit the game.
return DX9 and delete in you brain dx11
have on DX9 35 FPS
ON FCKING dx11 15fps this is update poe?

I'm sorry but i won't buy a 2K$ PC just to run this arpg smoothly. I can run apex legends/crysis,etc and i can't run Path Of Exile. "CPU Related" "GPU RELATED" ....dudes....This game has the worst ENGINE a game can have!

I love the PoE mechanics but you're right, the engine needs update.

I have no issues at all at my home computer. But when out of home and i try to play on my notebook i'm having lots of performance issues. The worst part is that i had none of those issues before so it's something related to Betrayal / Synthesis.

It's a Sony Vaio with i7 7500U and 8GM of Ram. The graphics card is a shit Intel 620 but i had no issues with PoE beforehand. And the worst part is that i can't even run it on Dx9 with shitty graphics anymore.

I can run WoW even on raids with 30-40 fps on this notebook, but somehow i get 15-20 fps on Blood Aqueducts on PoE. GGG should realy work on optimizing the game.
Seeing that ggg does not care about the 1% of the users that play in portals and low-end PCs, I include myself that I play in portail. Goodbye. It was a pleasure to play.
?
I've played POE for many years now, at home and away using my laptop.

At home I have dx11 and the game plays fine, but when I'm away from home I use my laptop, which uses dx9 and the game used to play 100 %%%%.

Now with the Synthesis update I'm unfortunately not able to play the game on my laptop. Which is very sad as I spend a lot of time away from home.

Please GGG bring dx9 back as an option for us.

I manage to load the game and go into areas, but after a short while the game hangs my laptop totally, and a hard reset is needed.

The constant blurry graphic, going microseconds back to normal, is just stupid and causing freezes.

It's like the frame rate / refresh rate is constantly trying to normalize and when it cannot do that, you get the blurry stuff and get reverted back to the normal graphic.

This happens durring intervention sindicate were you kinda get frozen for 5-10 seconds.
