Direct x11 is NOT better than direct x9

Following 3.6.0 Rowen's Performance Booster Guide (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2089358) I was able to play the game to the fullest, Uber Elder, level 100, you name it.



However, with was only possible with Dx9.
Directx11's performs, even with the lowest possible settings, makes the game completely unplayable:



Please either revert the Dx9 change, or improve Dx11 (like disabling shadows).
And PLEASE stop spreading lies about how graphics doesn't impact on performance and how Directx11 is better. It clearly isn't:

Edit: Issues I've had with Dx11 are:
-Loading screens are insanely long
-Game gets rapidly worse in performance even by the minute
-FPS spikes are constant, causing death
-Loading screens resulting in getting kicked to login about once/hour
-On 3 occasions opening the Passive Tree has caused me to be kicked to login

1 simple solution: Upgrade, if you cannot afford it, get a console.
It's true that DX11 is actually far superior to DX9 of any revision - provided you have the hardware that fully supports it.

Also you ought to get your self checked, butchering up any and all visuals just to be able to scramble up enough FPS to see which way you are going is just sad, and should never be a justification for any game developer to dial back on eyecandy.

I spent too much time trying to get dx11 to work, only to finally learn that my card is not compatible with it. It automatically updates to dx11, but does not support it at all so any time the game has worked has been purely unintentional lol.

I'm looking to get a gts450 or something with a vga connector for pretty cheap that is better than a gt 220. Yes my card was made about 10 years ago, and it ran the game just fine until 3.6

Well there's a difference between asking for a game to reduce its load, and asking a game, that I've given money to, to revert a change that made it unplayable for many people.

PoE releases big expansions constantly. But that comes at a price. And that price is screwing over customers like myself. PoE is poorly coded. There's not more than 50 things on a screen at once, it's a top down view, and the graphics aren't even close to realistic... Yet it looks and performs terribly.

Compared to things like Diablo 3, Grim Dawn, Torchlight 2, Skyrim, Runescape 3 (yes Runescape 3 can look better than PoE these days), all those games can look better and ALWAYS run smooth than PoE.. while having even more crazy things on the screen. Like 200 players at once in R3, or 100 enemies on the screen in D3... Or a dragon breathing fire at you while there's 20 NPCs around in Skyrim... (yet PoE struggles with 1 Monster in a tiny arena).

PoE's quality is horrible, especially if u compare it to other ARPGs/RPGs.

I've had this problem since the dx11 came, I never got to play on it because of that, I'm always disconnected when I try to open the skill tree after about 5-10 minutes playing

I also have problems with the new dx11. under dx9 i was able to play the game fluently. but now im getting frameratedrops down to 1 fps even on lowest settings and 800x600 resolution. before i could play fine on my native 1920x1080 resolution and medium settings.
Please revert those changes. Every time a group of enemies comes close i can watch a slideshow witch is gonna result in my death.

I can no longer play, life will now be working a few months to buy a new pc

just options in this game is a joke
medium textures are minimal option and you cant disable shadows.Why????
