But they kept all the unique maps so that's all I really wanted so - sweet!
They did ??
Without anouncing it ? Oo
At least it's a good thing, now I wished old guardian maps would still interact with the Atlas ... (they don't, do they ?)
Glad they finally addressed *that* problem at least! old guardian maps probably won't give completion for Elder, and unlike other maps you cant vendor them for an upgrade or exchange, only a scroll fragment. Can still run them for exp anyway!
Some mornings it's not worth chewing the straps off...

This time around they do. First map I ran was an old corrupted Minotaur and was surprised to see it gave completion.

Riight, I might recall cases where running a guardian maps was unlocking the ones below, but not the guardian map itself indeed.
Do they interact with shaper/elder influence ? I expect not, but I'm up for more potentially good surprises !
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

Running a Betrayal Series corrupted Hydra Map restored my Atlas up to T15 with bonus. T16 still show as uncompleted, as well as Shaper's realm. Vaal Temple is missing.
Unique maps I had in Betrayal show as well. Not the ones I had before Betrayal (Machinarium, Manor, Vinktar) but it's nice they kept some of them.
Influence is reset. Currently my Atlas has none.
Shaped and Elder maps are reset. I'll see if Zana can help.
My only complaint is the change of map series.
Hydra dropped
Where do I put it?
When will they fix the maps tab?
Alva: I'm sweating like a hog in heat
Shadow: That was fun

same thing as in 3.5
clear your whole map stash, then change it to "betrayal" you can then put new maps into it. Welcome to the hell of standard players
A randomized atlas each league is one of the best things that happened in poe.
I have been wanting this for a long time. Thanks.
While this is true for leagues it doesnt appeal to standard.
Atleast not in the way they are doing it right now.
They managed to change the atlas without killing it completely.
Yes the completion with a old T16 map is a solution, but a terrible one.
You cant shape your atlas at all as long as you have old maps.
Each time you run them again, they complete your atla again.
So the steps are now, reset your atlas, run all of your 1k+ maps (if you have time, if not sell them for no profit) shape over 15 maps again and run your favorite map again for 3 months. Then the fun starts again.
Some standard players are doing it for perfection of a single character (max MF, highest DPS possible and so on) others dont just have the time to play a league to the fullest.
Holidays, family, work. All these things cut into your gaming time.
So while some people can afford to reshape their atlas each 3 months, some cant.

I could live with exchanging maps (I did that last time) but losing two thirds of my collection to do so is just wrong.
