Yup. It'll work. It just won't have the same impact on this RF build like it does on others. Scorching Ray doesn't Hit which is awesome for builds with EE, but we don't use Elemental Equilibrium with this build. SR also applies Fire Exposure to enemies which is awesome, but we already have Wave of Conviction doing that. So unless you're going to make lots of changes to the build, adding SR would only adds its own damage. Nothing wrong with that though. Also, having a skill that requires you to stand still for a while is a little different playstyle than the one the build plays. So be sure it matches your playstyle.

well since you don't really do anything on longer fights you could easily use SR as extra dmg boost. I suggest you use balefire sceptre that comes with lv 25 SR.

drop HFT and wave of conviction. if you can tank it you can easily keep casting SR. it could be great for fights that you don't have RF on to help you survive

Being new to the game I thought I would try this build.

You say the items with the slots required will be forthcoming.

I am level 67 in Act 8 and so far have only found a three slot
shield with required linked slots.

Can anybody post some videos with this build in action? :)

Hey Was718hac,

One handed weapons and shields can only have a maximum of 3 sockets.
Helmets, Gloves, and Boots can have a maximum of 4 sockets.
Chests and 2 handed weapons can have up to 6 sockets.

Edit: Oh! I think I get your post. The other links will come. 4 socket/linked gear can start dropping by item level 25 (Act 3) but the game only gives 4 linked gear as quest rewards 3x...and that includes a 4 linked chest piece in Act 10. So even though the gear is capable of dropping, GGG still makes it sparse.

I need to get example videos up for all three of my guides. Sorry it's not up yet. Both my Mixer and Youtube links are in my subjects, feel free to take a look. I'm in Standard and am trying to get rid of all my 3.5 maps...so I started going through the white maps, then the yellow, then Red. At this stage of the process I'm still only on white maps. Sorry. All my gear in the video are just mediocre Rares. Nothing special.

After the Easter Break I'll make a point of doing example videos (on either Mesa, Bog, Racecourse, or the highest level "Channel"...my favourite maps) a priority.
