One handed weapons and shields can only have a maximum of 3 sockets.
Helmets, Gloves, and Boots can have a maximum of 4 sockets.
Chests and 2 handed weapons can have up to 6 sockets.

Edit: Oh! I think I get your post. The other links will come. 4 socket/linked gear can start dropping by item level 25 (Act 3) but the game only gives 4 linked gear as quest rewards 3x...and that includes a 4 linked chest piece in Act 10. So even though the gear is capable of dropping, GGG still makes it sparse.

I am struggling to understand what I need to do with my gear to get more damage/defense. Could you have a look at my gear and make suggestions?

Thanks for the kind message! I'm glad you're having such a good time! I find this game is WAY more fun when every drop can be an improvement.

I'd be happy to checkout your build. By default, GGG puts all characters on a profile to "private". So I can't access your character(s). If you go onto the pathofexile website, in your privacy settings, make your character tab public. Let me know when it's done (PM me if you prefer) and I'll take a look for sure.

privacy switched off - my bad eyesight - did not see the feint tick on the settings!!!

Could you also look at the abyss gems I have used on the belt and passives tree?

Daaaaang...not sure what to suggest. ;) Level 95 seems like you're doing just fine.

Your gear, including unique gear choices and enchantment mods are all perfect. You have done really well. Honestly, even on the gear where your life rolls could be improved, the other mods you have on that same gear work really well with the build and would be hard to duplicate. I wouldn't change a thing unless a Rare item dropped that was somehow better than what you had. You can't get to 95 with weak defense.

The changes you've made to your tree seem to be to your liking and have obviously worked for you. I see you switched up the CwDT gems (I have Purifying Flame with the CwDT 2 and Enfeeble, while Wave of Conviction is with CwDT 1 and Increased Crit Chance). Don't change it if that was on purpose...as mentioned, you're 95.

And your jewels are fantastic. You went with lots of damage and I'm sure you can tell. And honestly, you don't seem to need the defense on them...unless you found something that was exactly what you already had but also had a life roll. Offense and life is what you should go for...and you already did.

I'm sorry I don't have much of a suggestion for you. It seems you're in the situation where your improvements will come from really rare, great mod combo, drops.

How often do you find your jewel makes you Phase?

Since I didn't really see any holes in your gear defensively, what are the situations you're finding you're weak in that prompted your request?

Thanks for that. It's a relief I am on the right lines. Re phasing - I haven't really noticed it taking effect. Wasn't watching for it.
Re-problems - just wanted to be more powerful to handle Maps lvl16 - failed on the boss every time - some had too much ele res. I have not been able to complete Hall of Grand Masters - 4th wave gets too strong for me. Maybe I am just not a good player! Got 12 more maps to complete Atlas, so not doing badly.

just noticed where I was underdamaging - I had two of the same support gems in my RF 6-link! Doh! Corrected and now flying thru bosses.
