Chris, any info on when you'll include some kind of skill pre-loading? I had exactly the same issue as the OP when I first fought Piety in Crematorium yesterday and she used all her spells in the first 3-4 seconds...
after Patch 0.10.3 i have the totally contrary as you oO

Before my FPS was 40-60 .. now my FPS is constantly 160
the only things which going harder are the laggs...

I have many of them :/ ....6k Inet
encountering very unstable FPS here since last patch. FPS jumping between 12 and 45 every virtual meter i run with my char. So the game feels quite laggy. It felt much more fluently in the same game areas before the patch. Ping though is ok with around stable 40ms.

playing on a Laptop, average machine, - c2d 2.4ghz , nv quadro fx1600m

1900x1200/ no fsaa / vsync on

Same problem for me!

I have a Phenom II x6 1090T Overclocked to 3.52MHz
8GB of DDR3 (9,9,9,24)
A OCZ SSD
ANDDDDD
A NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660Ti

I can run battlefield 3 at a constant 60FPS with everything on ultra and 1920x1080.
But, every time I cast skeleton totem for the first time, my game hangs for half a second,
then decides to cast it.

Minor problem but it is silly considering how over powered my machine is.

^ This, is the only time my game freezes.. its a minor issue. but when running into a pack of strong creatures at the start of a map it has near gotten me killed 3 separate times... (low life low ES\shit gear doing 68 maps)
i got fps drop with totem summon skeletton fast casting and the ranged attack totem ice arrow faster attack lmp
Me and my gf both have same issue as OP since 0.10.2. The fps was never great, but now it's even closer to unplayable in some areas. I have no idea what went wrong there.

This sounds like a heat issue to me. Your gpu reduces clock speed to prevent damage. Are you on a Macbook Pro? I use a fps limiter to prevent overheating on my laptop. But since the patch it tends to get hotter than before and hotter than with any game I ever played.

I have a similar thing happening with my performance (Constant fluctuations), it so far only happens sometimes, when returning to the game after minimizing it.

With regards to everyone experiencing performance stutter the first time they use a Totem, that is entirely normal and will be resolved in the future. It's because the totem graphics aren't cached until the first time you use it each game session.
