Someone putting up a wrong item deliberatly is a fkng scammer and deserves a ban.

Too bad GGG has other policy.
And not because they promote scamming, but they drew a line from day 1 not to get involved to avoid falsely accused getting a ban.

OP should have checked better, true, that idiot seller should be removed from external trade sides (poe.trade...)

Screw this scammer.

If I were to give wrong item in a trade, I'd gladly refund or correct the trade, and apologise for messing up.

OP should be grateful such a valuable lesson was learned so cheaply.

Let me rephrase: It is a scam within the rules of the game with a satisfactory level of safe guards in place to prevent anyone with half a brain from falling for them.
