In a system where you see what you pay for what you get, its your own fault. The other player doesnt have to ability to change anything without your notice.
Its, plain said, as from others in this thread also, your own fault. It happends, people are beeing assholes, but noneless you have to read what you buy. If you do not know what it is, you can always countercheck it on poe.trade or ask the player if he can wait a minute to check the item. GGG will not give you items back or check the trade logs (im not sure thats even possible without a huge time investment) also you wont get items back through server downs and rollbacks. It's definitely a scam, but scamming is not against ToS, so he will not be punished. Naming and shaming however is against ToS so expect your post to be edited soon^^
