I have news for you, Alt+F4 is exactly the same thing as logging out unless you have a wooden processor.

If you are lagging and you try to log out on low hp, you will die.
If you are lagging and you alt F4 on low hp, you will die.

The moment the server receives the packet that disconnects the client (or fails to receive the packet after and explicit amount of time) is the moment you are safe.

Sometimes Packet Loss can have adverse effects on your connection to the game server that may cause it to act more strangely than intended (The permanent Lag Out) but as a general rule of thumb if you are 700+MS and you are at 10% with something attacking you, you were dead on the server before you ever hit the log out button.

I've tested it myself by multilogging... alt+f4 is instant.

It's NOT instant people take it from top 10 scrubcore which is me mind you It DOES not always save you I promise you that and my computer is aprox 3 grand with perfect everything of a GG god like computer w/e you want to call it

It absolutely is instant. 100% fail proof and always works.

As long as you Alt F4 while you still have some HP left, you will not die.

If you try to log out and you are lagging you will die too.... Kungen has VODS of this happening, you are trying to argue empirical evidence against substance.

You really shouldn't use Default League in an argument where facts and reality have proven your 'evidence' wrong.

I play exclusively Hardcore and have risked my characters to prove a point, all of my characters are alive.

Are you serious? You just found out that it's not always instant. The hard way. It's "supposed" to be instant? WTF does that mean? It is not reliably instant. You even just explained WHY it's not reliably instant. What are you on about?

Are you serious? You just found out that it's not instant, and now you're arguing with people who tell you the truth based on something you misremembered from someone who is in no way an authority on the subject to begin with.

Alt + f4 is not safe. You found that out the hard way. I'm not sure if you're trolling or just stupid, but this thread is ridiculous and you are accusing people who try to help you of spreading misinformation.

Logging out is also not safe 100% of the time.

HUNDREDS of people have car crashes and the seat belts save their lives every day, 2 people got into a crash and a faulty seat belt is what killed them.
All seat belts are serial killers.

That is how ridiculous you guys rationalizing this shit sounds to anyone with some common sense.
