Delve - % res helmets are the new Elemental Hit but probably even more broken

Talk about overreaction. There's so many sources of pen/-max already in the game that adding it on a helm (that competes with uniques, elder/shaper items, and enchants that won't exist on craftable bases) is barely going to add an option for most builds, much less break the game.

You're right, I didn't quite think that through lol. As for enchants, not every enchant exists on white craftable base, although the popular ones do, so again, I didn't really think it over too well.

I mean, I'm not saying the mod is useless, I'm just saying it seems like an overreaction to call it game breaking.

Just like Guaranteed Vaal Implicit Bestiary Recipe, Trickster/Chieftain, most Vaal Skills and whole bunch of other stuff.
This game has been meta enforcing from the beginning anyways. It's literally "whoever has the best right-click" been that way since day 1 because this game is just a right click RNG game.

You want better variety on builds, maybe try out other games like Monster Hunter.

PoE = anti-identity because instead of a contest about measuring dick sizes/e-peen or w/e, it's about measuring right-click size.
I kind of quickly read through this thread and just wanted to add one thing. GGG 100% have to release this kind of stuff. Every league from here on out is going to have to 1up previous league items. There needs to be a reason to go after them, trade, craft these items. There is no attempt at balance here, they just need to keep engaging people with new chase items.

Things that are blatantly ignored:
It's a rare modifier that comes from a new crafting method we know next to nothing about. Crafting a proper helmet with this modifier will likely take more currency than a 2 socket Tombfist, which this was compared to.

It only works for (a single type of) elemental damage (Tombfist works for every attack). Attack builds rarely use only one element. And if you are using a build with only one element you are most likely using penetration/resistance reduction already, which lowers the effectiveness of this mod. Can't see this mod give you more than a 10% dps increase in the best of circumstances.

Is it good? Yes.
Will it be worth the currency? Maybe.
Is it overpowered? What?
I'd love to see another rare helmet that universally gives almost all classes a major damage boost. It's essentially a permanent Wise Oak damage effect for everyone that uses it and currently 1/4 of the players use Wise Oak.

The crafting arguments are bozo as well, everything that has been broken so far and claimed so before release hasn't been rare. I'm simply pointing out a trend here and would rather not have this mod in game at all because it's on a HELMET.

forgot 6-10% ascendacies, shaped amu 10% pen/xoph, 5% casters class on tree/27% attack class on tree.

We really need to boost pen on tree guys, clearly there is not enough.



So I guess GGG think we need more pen.

Can we get about 30 pen on tabula rasa too? Also I wouldn t mind to get 10% pen per projectiles on frost bolts thks.

MAybe give oro a 50% pen when ignite enemies too.

Apparently posting complains about elem pen on feedback had no effect on GGG hard on toward elem pen/reduced elem res. They want for some reason players to have 100% pen on mobs, look at those new vaal auras. This is just another step toward the stupid elem pen boner from GGG 1k hour team.
