Yes it is still very viable. Not very much has really changed. One thing is, Loreweave has reduced resistance cap.

For leveling you should just be using whatever upgrades you can. This build doesn't really require much in terms of gear while leveling until near the end. Just try to keep resistances up, and a little damage.

Nice build, I'm rather new and I wanted to try Ice Crash and this is really fun and solid! Sometimes I wish the effect was less messy though

A few questions about other options:

-I know that Loreweave seems just the best, but I was wondering if Crystal Vault cold work as a defensive armor option? Increased chill and the damage converted to ice + Taste of Hate should be good?

-It seems that having a watcher's eye with damage conversion and a good pair of gloves may be better that Hrimburn, like spiked gloves or tombfist maybe, right?
I guess the best option, but expensive, would be a watcher with both pene and conversion, but maybe a watcher conv + pandemonius is enough to beat it? You would lose the burn for yoke anyway.

-Other options for helms aside abyssus and starknoja? Are those just bis?

-Is Double Doryani the best option, or is there some shaper/elder that would be better? Also I'd like to add that Cameria works really good before having Doryani

-What anout Hypotermia?

I don’t think crystal vault is worth it tbh. It is more the elemental damage what hurts this build. A watcher‘s eye will definitely be worth ot but I don’t like to make my build guides to expensive. Abyssus is BiS for dps... Starkonja’s is just a option which gives good dps an d survivability. You can craft pretty sich rare weapons which should be better than doryani’s but the cost a lot.

could you go into any further detail of what i'd want to look for in a craftedd rare weapon? I'm pretty much min maxing this build at the moment and i've wondered what i can do to push it further. I heard stat sticks got nerfed, so what makes a good rare item craft for this build?

I'd also like to mention that this is one of my favorite builds. Played it in Delve league and never looked back any other builds. It doesnt get old leaping round and shattering everything its your path. Hoping to try uber atziri soon. never done it but i think ill ok. It just sucks dying when your in lvl 90's! Awesome build man!!

The build is based on maces so you want a rare mace or sceptre with high base crit, attack speed and high physical damage(about +350) and additional you want global critical multipliers, phy. As extra... or your damage penetrates...

Hypothermia should be very strong option for this build.

Can i ask why is in the budget gear version, support duration on helmet instead of cast on damage taken ?

The build got buffed crazy in 3.7 and will be a super strong starter build which should melt all content. Have fun guys!

How do the multistrike changes affect this?

This was almost my build last league, I'm thinking now with some buffs I do it this time around!

A bit slower attacks but more damage but with animation canceling the slower attacks will not matter too much.
