Well it is kinda a matter of taste. In order for hypothermis to work you need to chill enemies first. So bosses like shaper are harder to chill, so I felt that ruthless and Multistrike are just more reliable options but Hypothermis is obviously good as well.

Hi, just thought i would post before synthesis.

I played this build to lvl 95 (with minor alterations) and ended up running unstoppable ascendancy so i could run blood magic on leap slam in boots and a beefier warchief.

Cleared everything in game beside Uber elder but mostly a practice issue and was pushing past 500 on delve but betrayal just burnt me out in the end.

Icecrash was probably the most fun i've had in a very long time so cheers :).

The animation triggered my mate pretty hard though, so i wish there was an MTX for this badboy skill so i could lower the eye strain a touch and actually see boss mechanics lol.

is prismatic eclipse still a good offhand to use for leveling? I heard it got nerfed like the stat sticks or something

FOr leveling it should still be decent!

Played in 3.5 and it was awesome, thanks!

Although it seems not many ppl taking this build in 3.6, is there any big nerf?

No not really ... it is just the spell season :) it is more or less exactly as strong as last league.

What about using the Bitterdream Sceptre in my offhand for leveling? Wouldn’t that give me a pseudo 7link for leveling? I’ve been doing it with Melee Phys > Multistrike > Ele dmg w/ attacks and have been cruising through the first few acts

That’s what I mean, though... I have been lol. I’ve just been cruising through the acts one shotting trash and forgetting to apply passive points 5 at a time. I’ve never had an easier leveling experience. I must admit that I’m kinda new, and have only played Necromancer to level 88. This is my first time on a new class and ascendancy.

I’ve been running Herald of Ice with Herald of Purity, along with a Stone Golem... I love the regen, and haven’t hit a point yet where I felt like I needed attack speed. I run blood rage, but never use it until bosses because the life loss becomes annoying when I’m one shotting all the trash anyway. I think Hatred would probably help me kill bosses faster, but again, haven’t hit a point where I feel I need more dps.

Also, I’m playing on Xbox so I can’t link my profile :c(

Is this still any viable?
When I decided for this build I didn't quite take into account, that it is (supposed to be?) meant for 3.5
What are the major disadvantages relying on this? Since I'm "already" (for a beginner and casual player feels like that) Level 35 there is no real affordable way to choose another build, huh? I really don't want to start another character just yet.
So, anyone with experience in playing this in Synthesis?

Edit: Also, what gear should I look for while leveling? The stuff shown in the guide are pretty specific and honestly I don't have the slightest clue how to get my hands on them. Until now I just used what seemed to have the best stats. (strength > life > ... and so on).
