Corrupted blood = [Removed by Support]
" Except that even 250 milliseconds is plenty of time. As mentioned, for cars that's a time for not even expecting the brake, AND traffic laws, as I mentioned, are made more forgiving given the higher stakes; because of the necessity of driving for making a living throughout much of the world, by necessity it's kept so that even the unskilled and low-talent motorists on the road don't pose a huge danger to others. Meanwhile, given that your left hand has literally nowhere else to be but the QWERTY and 12345 rows of the keyboard, the shift to pressing a bleed flask is INCREDIBLY small even if you were already using that finger for a different press. In honesty, you should be binding your staunching flask to a key where you CAN hover your finger over it. The only way it's gonna take anything close to a second is if a player is entirely inept at using a keyboard, and has to visibly look down to even tell what key they're pressing... In which case why the hell are they playing a fast-paced game like PoE? My guides: Summon Homing Missile (SRS) | Act II starter RF | Budget Oro's Flicker Strike

I've played this game long enough that I don't normally look at my health globe, but I have built-in, ready instincts to instantly hit 1 if my globe drops dramatically just in my peripheral vision.
I imagine this is pretty common with experience. I STILL miss the corrupted blood orbs on my character in the mass of effects but I rarely miss the diving health when my leech stops. Occasionally I have massive, ridiculous stacks and die as soon as I move such that said instinct cannot be fast enough, but that is pretty rare. Lately I have been more attentive to the stack on the top left - even going so far as deciding to potion or not depending on if it says 20 or 6. Professional growth! |

Have not really found Corrupted Blood to be a problem in years. There is plenty of time to react as long as you pay attention. If you are ranged and hitting stuff off screen, you are going to occasionally hit corrupted blood or phys/ele reflect. There is always a risk when you are hitting something off screen. It is the price you pay to be able to do that. However it is not hard to overcome, if you are prepared.
A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

" Nice thinking! Note that for some skills (like RF) that deal DoT damage directly - rather than through a debuff or ground effect for a duration - the DoT kills are assigned correctly to the totem. Also note that this would only apply to the bloodline packs, and not Corrupted Blood Nemesis rares. " Is there any source to cite for this besides a bug report from 3 years ago? My guides: Summon Homing Missile (SRS) | Act II starter RF | Budget Oro's Flicker Strike

A bug report with a link from Vipermagi to a dev response is a pretty good source.

" I find it difficult to believe that people commonly have a finger always hovering over a staunching flask key. Please show me one youtube.com video or a build description with such a thing. You guys are exaggerating to say that 0.5 seconds is plenty of time. Here's a reaction time test. The average on this test is about 0.25 seconds and it involves simply a left click on the mouse, when a huge block on the screen switches colors. Reaction time for hitting the staunching flask key would obviously be much greater. https://www.humanbenchmark.com/tests/reactiontime/ Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! GGG will implement a different method for ascension in PoE2. Retired!

" That seems like a really odd request. Most people don't take photos of their fingers and then post them online. What sort of videos were you expecting to see? Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

" Hitting a bleed flask is a part of muscle memory for most. For a reaction test like this, you first need to acknowledge that the color has changed and afterwards consciously hit the mouse button. When I see my health dropping in PoE, muscle memory kicks in and bleed pot is used without any conscious interference. I did a set of five in that test. Averaged 331ms, top 28%. The site claims median time is 215ms, yet it placed me to top 28% with 331ms. I'm no good at math but I feel like there's something wrong there. Either way, my first attempt went well over 400ms, and I felt like that reaction was super slow. If I reacted this slow to bleeding in PoE, I'd die relatively often even to high damage puncture mobs. As such, I stand by my words that half a second is plenty of time. |

I just keep staunching on one of my quicksilvers so it's always up. No reaction time needed.
