Ah... I remember, after 1.2, I actually made a complaint about the "corrupted bloodline" mod.
I was complaining that it wasn't doing ENOUGH damage; I built a super-squishy evasion-based char (with like 3k life XD) and found it odd that I was just nuking every pack I ran across, and still didn't even notice the DoT. I was actually kinda pleased that GGG appears to have heard that complaint and responded to it; now it actually feels like something marginally different amidst the "annihilate 2+ screens worth of monsters per shot" blitz. But yeah, that's what bleed flasks are for. (also, note that IC can buy you a second or so of respite from it, too!) Flask does no good when you have 1000 stacks from bisco's leash, i think thats why im taking so much damage. I die in like a sec along with the monsters.
I did pick up some death's doors but sold them. |

Just run antibleed on a utility flask. You'll never have issues with corrupted blood again.

" This is pretty important. A life flask requires more skill or attention since it's reactive. A utility flask on the other hand only requires uptime before the bleed is applied which shouldn't be a problem with the current state of clearspeed. There are different options like the already mentioned Death's Door, a few other uniques, Slayer & Pathfinder Ascendancy and the minor pantheon node "Soul of Ralakesh" if you don't want to use the utility flask for some reason. Use your options. |

" I don't believe that this is really true? A general rule of thumb for vehicle braking reaction time is 1.5 seconds. However, I would assume that getting below one second would be possible if hovering over the brake or the staunching flask (in this case) but, saying half a second is plenty of time is just plain not true. Remember that focus at that point of time would be on where the monsters are coming from with glances back to character and life ball. If the bleeding starts when looking at monsters then 0.5 seconds would not be a reasonable expectation. " Who said anything about contact, your making contact with a projectile, not the actual enemy if they're ranged lol. And stop using range as a crutch, just be better, my shield throw got 8.3k hp, 1.4 net regen, 55 damage reduce w/o buff, so I could be ranged, but range is for baddies I use point blank.
