List of Poe biggest flaws - add yours
1. You need to constantly buy maps from others (and 70% of them won't respond)
2. You have to run shaper/elder maps if you want to profit (It's very annoying becase game forces you to run specific maps, and again you need to buy them or you need to push elder in direction where you have the most maps, it's a big waste of time). 3. Memory fragments, elder/shaper, elder circle and many more aspects of them game are VERY poorly explained by game designers, you need to watch minimum few videos to understand it and to use it wisely you need a lot of practice. 4. Farming elder and uber elder is like chasing your own tail, you have to push maps over and over again and to spawn uber elder you also need to be lucky. That kind of stuff shouldnt be luck based. Game should explain to do A B C D E to get it EVERYTIME not sometimes. Just like with Guardians, you kill 4 guardians to access shaper, and this is 100% ok. 5. Trading system is annoying and boring. League dies after 2-3 weeks and you cant even buy maps easily because people stopped playing. 6. Buying small currency items like maps, sextanses, fragments, should be possible via auction house of any sort (it doesnt have to be for everything, only for those elements). I'm tired of asking 200 people per hour to get something I need 7. You cannot make consistent profit in POE, you need very specific items for current meta otherwise you will not sell anything. People who start playing league 1-2 weeks after it has started are having very hard time making money. That's why we need unique item upgrades + build upgrades, so more builds are viable for shaper/elder/uber elder and all game content so more items are sellable. 8. Bestiary recipes are not rewarding enough and you get 90% of the time some very trash uniques. (worst league ever in poe, but thats a different topic). 9. There is no point of farming maps (even reds - apart from T16). Current viable ways of farming is : elder/guardians>shaper>farming very specific maps for divination cards. I want to run all the game content to actually enjoy the game and farm at the same time but I cant because i will not make any decent amount of currency. 10. Terrible amount of useless unique items. I know i repeat myself, but this is actually huge problem. We dont need those uniques at all, there are few specific leveling uniques people use and the rest is just vendored. I want to feel that unique is something actually nice, not 1c that nobody will buy for 2 weeks. Dernier bump le 30 mars 2018 à 20:45:51

no bad luck protection, which is more a criticism of games in general to be honest.
Crafting doesn't exist, rerolling items isn't crafting its repetition and their "crafting" league has been anything but (really salty about trying to roll a sword this league, started on like day 3 am still using alts/regals/beastcrafts on it every day and haven't had anything usable yet) |

Flippers. Without having live searches, your chance to get "lucky" item to buy is probably 2-3% per search. Without flippers, thus with people only buying what they're gonna use, the percent would be more like 50.
Why bother finding a Mirror of Kalandra if it can be [Removed by Support]
Killing the Elder or Shaper while following someone's build is like finding a street using google maps - such an achievement! |

Latency always up and down, and fps pay the price... and ur are dead....
I think the game may have just toooooo many things from older leagues running.... time to clean the mess and make the game run smoother again.... |

also, can't turn off other people's visual effects so partying results in your whole screen be flooded with fancy particle effects where you have no idea what's even going on

"No bad luck protection".
I love it. Simply marvelous. (1) I don't have enough time in my day anymore as a responsible adult to play this game to the extent around which it has generally been designed. I still love it, and still play it, but I know I don't get the best result because of my time invested. In other words, bad luck protection = increased play time = leveling out the RNG. (2) I prefer SSF which further limits my results as the game, aside from providing a separate ladder comparing other SSF players, has no additional contingency for SSF. I am fine with that, I have been self-imposed SSF from the beginning and understand and accept that limitation. But there is still a loud contingent looking for concessions for SSF which they will never get, and that is getting a little annoying. (3) The design direction for PoE is currently in question. This is the only real addition I have to the list. I have been playing for a long time, and love this game like no other. Normally a single league and change implementation would not move the needle for me, but I've started to see cracks in my confidence in the design future of the game. I hope to be pleasantly surprised come the next league, or I migrate permanently to standard until I grow bored and then move on. It happens. It just seems like I have been playing this for so long it would be such a paradigm shift in my life I am not sure what I would do! |
