Blade vortex is a spell not an attack so that flat dmg doesnt work.

How good this jewel? Crit chance with cold skills work with our BV?

just did my first red elder and it was too easy. played a good RF jugg build last league and while that was tanky as hell, it was nice to insta kill basically everything instead of a 10minute encounter haha.

PoB dps is 2.3m with conc effect/1.2m shaper boss dps with a shitty weapon so i still have a lot of improvements to make!

no it won't. only spell or global modifiers will work

Would you mind posting your char with gear my goal is to kill elder/shaper this league for the first time ever. Just hit maps and want to see what I need to be working towards.

can just check my profile, char is bvbvbvbvbvbvbvbvbv. setup is mainly for mapping atm with intuitive leap plus dual curse with ele weakness gloves and a shield with fast dagger for shield charge.

with double dps daggers with added elemental damage you are looking up to 1.9m shaper dps (2.1m if you can get a decent +1 curse amulet)

I'm aware i have no fortify linked because getting a 3R on starkonja's is literal cancer.

Can't speak much to your other gear since I've had a slow start this league. But to get the colors you need on starkonja's, google poe jeweler method or vorici trick. You will need him to be level 4 to fix your helm and get the colors you want, but it ends up much cheaper than burning chromes.

I really enjoy this build and everything was a breeze untill i reached act 6.... (im lvl 48) i dont understand what happened and i would love to hear how i can improve on my gear without getting gear i cant use at lvl 48

im fairly new to the game so i dont know what gear to get instead so please drop some names of some gear :)

What problem are you having exactly?

A brief look at your gear makes me think your resistances are probably not max (75%) since you have very little resists on your gear.

If mana is your issue: Don't use all 3 heralds until you get Mastermind of Discord or have a decent elreon ring (something that reduces the mana cost of skills).

If survivability is your issue: Use a shield and get more HP on your gear.

If damage is your issue: Double check the skill gem setup for the build because Spell Echo is not what you should be using. Also make sure your flasks are up to date and match what is recommended from the build guide.

I checked in pob and i still dont get why is switching out added fire preferred? It gives a bit more dmg than inc. cdmg and way more than efficacy, so shouldnt it be the recommended 6th gem?
