[3.6] Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist

I checked in pob and i still dont get why is switching out added fire preferred? It gives a bit more dmg than inc. cdmg and way more than efficacy, so shouldnt it be the recommended 6th gem?

Loving this build now that I'm in maps. It just wrecks content and feels pretty safe even with only 4700 life so far.

Although, I do feel like you need to add to the con list that this build has a very high chance of crashing poe. The prolif explosions are so massive that my game frequently locks up for 2-3 seconds on large packs.

But it's still amazingly fun.

doesn't scale anywhere near as well. added fire on my setup is 14% dps increase, ICD is 27%, so it's almost double the damage

Would it be possible for you to share your pob link? i used your gear and it still not showing that big of a difference so its probably a setup issue i just want to check what im missing

Because the Vaal BV is merged with normal BV everyone is running Vaal BV in this build now.

But can you actually use it "often" because I just tried it and it's strong but that 5sec soul c/d + soul recovery takes some time.
I do understand that Vaal finally merged into single gem. :)

Any advice on what to improve for my gear? Currently at 4.7k life and capped elemental resistances.



The helm, chest, gloves, and WM/HoA ring are fixed except for obvious upgrades (Inpulsa's, BV enchantment, Hrimburn). That leaves my weapons, boots, amulet, belt, and other ring for upgrades. Any advice on those items would be appreciated.

Planning to buy an Inpulsa's soon, can someone explain which mod(s) rolls are the most important?
*max life
*inc dmg if you shocked recently
*inc effect of shock
*shocked enemies explode dealing x percent of their life...

if I have Hrimsorrow and Physical to Lightning Support gem isnt that 100% conversion? Does gain #% Physical damage as extra Lightning Damage on for example weapon go over that 100%?

honestly i don't what i had setup, but i cant replicate it again, so maybe i was looking at the wrong blade vortex setup. its still a damage increase though, at about 5%, so i don't see why you wouldn't use it. makes it easy to swap out CHD for a conc effect on tough bosses as well

the mod on the weapon is adding extra damage, not converting it, so yes it is good. it takes all of your physical damage (before conversion) and adds it to your total damage. you can test it by taking off the weapon, hrimsorrow and the physical to lightning gem and hovering over blade vortex gem. then put your weapon on and it will add a ton of elemental dps based from the physical dmg of blade vortex.
