I dunno, he was constantly hinting that it was probably going to be harder to drop with 3.2.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Just a lowly standard player. May RNGesus be with you.
It was a reliable way of getting a 6 link without playing the economy simulation. Can't have that can we GGG?
Makes me wonder how hard is it going to be in 3.2. Level 10 to get better chance? Level 20?

I was trying to farm 2 abyssal sockets unique for the "Identify Unique" challenge throughout the whole Abyss league.

I managed to get 50/50 liches and still 0 dropped for me over the 3 months period (I was still farming for it hours before league ends).

If it ain't for @_Saranghaeyo_'s kindness, I wouldn't have obtained my 40/40 in SSF Abyss at all.

Somehow, I have a bad feeling farming her...
Being the Oni-Goroshi mostly unattainable by SSF and casual players maybe they could bring back the Goddess Unleashed's vendor recipe.

Why should Oni be the one and only unique that you can farm? Makes little sense, particularly since the way to farm it is so artificial to legitimate gameplay.

They should make it drop like any other unique, and make the rarity equate to how common they want it to be (probably a bit more rare than Tabula). It'll likely end up being cheaper.

I Know Charan said she was going to be harder to find, and I also know there are divination cards that drop across acts 1 to 5 that give access to her.

Upping the difficulty of Uber-Hillock is a great idea, but making the chance of getting Uber to spawn even more difficult is just plain silly.

Since we know she can drop at earlier than level 7, I think i'll start the league with 4 characters and then just level them all up to 7.5 and see what drops. Its a great 6 link, and the build I'm thinking about uses her so getting the sword earlier will make a big difference.

Also, it takes me ages to level a character so 4 hours is nothing (normally takes me 3 or 4 days of casual play to get to maps). If I was a speed leveler and could get to maps in like 8 or 9 hours things would probably be different, but meh ..

Cheers,
Matt.
There are 10 types of people. Those that know binary, and those that dont.
My opinion is keep the drop chance but increase the lv requirement to drop, example up to lv 15 instead of lv 7

Given the reduction of EXP when your over leveled, is it even possible to farm to lvl 15 in Twilight Strand?

"legitimate gameplay"?

Personally I consider killing mobs a far more 'legitimate' method than playing poe.trade simulator. YMMV.

Also, if you think the sword is the only unique you can farm you haven't been paying attention. Farming a map for cards, or farming a zone for an item, what's the difference?
