I never really got the point of the drop way of Oni, unique items are supposed to be kind of unexpected, it was just dumb grinding on one area with level 7 characters in order to get an extremely powerful item...
Well it's still the same now, I would just prefer that it has the same drop rate than tabula and can drop anywhere, though I guess the current drop makes sencé with the lore of the weapon. |

I ground out 3 of these. Won't do it again with more RNG added to it, I'll just head for maps in shorter time. I don't think a 6L makes levelling SO much easier that it's worth more added frustration. Too bad, grind felt just right before, and for a newer player like me it was cool to know I could get a 6L that had more to it than a Tabula. So it goes.

Sword less common: good.
The way they did it: bad. There’s very few times “we’re upping the RNG” will be received well, and I don’t think this is one of them. I was expecting a nerf, but them deciding to increase the variance caught me by surprise. I’ve farmed the sword - I’m glad I did it, but I was already planning on not doing so again. When people are endlessly repeating the same monotonous thing for hours, it’s always going to feel bad to get unlucky. The higher the variance, the worse that will feel. If you had hopes to get one for leveling it no longer makes any sense. If you specifically want it for your end game build I guess it makes sense albeit you should buy one with the proceeds of map farming for 8 hours.

" IIRC in the guild chat, Charan mentioned he did not want Oni to be an easy grab. It was either this method or a nerf to the weapon. @Charan, correct me if I am wrong, if this what I recalled a while back? Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.
