I did use the ZiggyD filter, have it deleted now.
Will report how it went.

Seems weird that removing itemfilters would fix it though? That's probably the last thing I'd suspect. What filter(s) were you using?
If loot filters are evaluated inefficiently, for some reason, and are done synchronously to the loot dropping, that could certainly explain why folks see regular FPS dips while playing: every time you kill enough mobs in one shot, boom, lootsplosion *and* a single "long" frame evaluation.
One of the things I have noted is that, eg, NeverSink notes that their filter is "optimized for performance" by ordering rules carefully; perhaps this is because there are some known pain points there.
As a programmer, it is very easy for me to imagine that running the rules is inefficient: it is really, really easy to write a simple, obvious, and very slow interpreter for this sort of thing. It is also much easier to do it in a single thread, because each evaluation is fast enough that breaking up the work can risk sufficient overhead to be slower than a single thread is.
So ... yeah, it makes sense to me that, conditional on a list of things about the implementation that we can't know, this would explain the FPS dips people have.
You should definitely test it.

While ago i remove old item filter, and finaly game work proper, wired situation like OP i think here was problem with internet coection, dns, ports etc, in my case this was item filter.
This seem to work for me. I haven't tried it for too long but deleting all my loot filters from the folder seemed to work. Problem is it's atrocious to play without it ...
All? I'd rather not play at all than to play without a filter nowadays.

Yea i removed all my neversink filters and I've played for sometimes without it before putting it back. Not getting the issue since then (i'm now playing with a single filter in the folder after having played w/o)
When i was playing around with the filter, I tested that when i had filter files in the game folder, infinte screens would appear, then i deleted all filters and infinite loading would stop. Tested it repeatedly.
If i have the problem again, i think i'm just going to delete the filter to enter the zone, then but it back (i know it's tedious ...)

Hmm, I did actually hard crash once yesterday when I exploded a big pack and it did give me a crash report. Unfortunately I don't remember what it said... That was the first time it happened though.
This was after changing from NeverSinks normal, to his strict slick one.

I only have 1 filter in my folder aswell and I was still getting the bug (Only had 1 filter from the start of the league) I now have 2 in my folder but after changing from Neversinks normal filter to his strict slick one I seem to have this bug happen less? I don't feel like I've played enough to confirm anything though but I will continue testing.
If this is the actual reason and no fix is in the works then this game is dead to me. I refuse to play without an item filter, straight up.

I'm suggesting this makes sense literally and only for FPS "stutters", where you miss a frame deadline or two, and nothing else. A crash is something else, and almost certainly unrelated.

Same issue, can´t even play. I log in with my character in abyss league, loading screen starts, gears began to turn then they dissapear and im stuck forever. Happens 100% of the time. Tried deleting my loot filters but that did not help. Its actually broken. Please fix.

4 Pages and several days later and still no reply from GGG. How long do you normally have to wait until your issue gets noticed?
It's still happening, and it's still annoying af.

The general wait time until you get a reply from GGG is exactly the same time as it takes to realise you need to email GGG tech support to get a personal response.
The forums are mostly player-to-player support; while GGG do read them, and occasionally respond, they mostly just listen for problems and work to solve them without coming back and posting here.

Wut.
That seems awfully inefficient? What if I have relevant information that could help fix the problem, but that I haven't included yet because no one has replied and asked for it...
Instead I have to send an email that potentially gets lost among thousands of other emails, and where potentially multiple responds back and forth are needed to even get to the root of the problem ("wasting" both mine and GGGs time).
Oh well, guess I'll just have to hope they're working on this silently and that eventually it gets fixed?
Seems likely. =/

Wow. Yeah, that is awfully inefficient. I have no idea why you decided to, IDK, test to see how much GGG love you by withholding important information for solving the problem until they ask you nicely, or whatever motivated that.
If you would care to sensibly share your relevant information here, then when they read the forums they can use it, or just send it to them? Seriously, what on earth did you think withholding it was going to achieve!

Well, if you insist on not telling people things they need to know to solve a problem, then yes, time would absolutely be wasted discussing it back and forth. You can't really blame GGG for your decision not to tell them things, though, or anyone other than ... you. Because nobody out here is a mind reader, y'know?
Also, but less relevantly, your imaginary, completely incompetent GGG support department that don't have any mechanism for keeping track of email requests is ... just that, imaginary.
In the real world they have, I assure you, some system that ensures that they know what has to be attended to, and ways to communicate between support people so that even if someone is on holiday, or off sick, or just not working at the time your email gets to the front of the queue, it'll still be appropriately handled.
