Getting stuck in infinite loading screens

I got same problem did try all and no working. this is first time i got this issue! hope they can fix this soon

Fixed with -gc2 --nopreload but loading times really suck with those commands. I'm running ggpk defrag maybe that will help.

Hmm, I tried applying those 2 launch parameters to my game and when logging on for the first time the cogs once again disappeared after a short while, but to my surprise - 5-10 seconds later I loaded into the game.

Every single time before, no matter how long I wait, nothing would happen, so this atleast makes me feel somewhat optimistic.

I will continue to test the game with those 2 parameters and see if it indeed fixes the problem.

Have you tried running only one or the other?, btw?

Edit: Well, it seems like I may have spoken too soon. Shortly after this^ post I got stuck once again, and this time it's been stuck for several minutes with nothing happening. Cogs are gone, background/ambient sound is still there, but stuck on the loading screen.

Guess that didn't help :/ Regardless, thank you for sharing. Perhaps it fixes it for someone else.

Tried -gc2 --nopreload and was hopeful for a few minutes but the bug continued.

The good thing is this bug can be spotted rather fast on SSD. I know in two seconds if the bug is happening and alt+f4 out of the game and reload, which is faster than letting it DC me.

Yeah, while mapping it's not that big of a problem. Sure, it's annoying and sure as hell shouldn't be happening, but it's not devastating.

Being a lab runner is a completely different story though. Feel like I wasted my entire start of the league picking a lab runner since im basically guaranteed to lose 50%+ of my offerings to this bug.

Losing an offering due to something out of my control is so god damn demoralizing, and not being able to do the content my character is built to do truly sucks, especially when it's basically the only thing it's good at doing.

Sad such a good league has to be spoiled by something like this.

Well the bad news is I've had this bug happen so many times in a row that I was never able to get into maps. and lab, LOL, I wouldn't even consider trying to finish my uber lab, which leaves my character nerfed until this is fixed.

While ago i remove old item filter, and finaly game work proper, wired situation like OP i think here was problem with internet coection, dns, ports etc, in my case this was item filter.

I've now did a full format and reinstall of my computer. Let's see how poe acts with a fresh version of windows 10.

Happened with a fresh copy of poe, on a fresh copy of windows, unupdated to see if it was the recent update microsoft released. I've opened, ports, I've even DMZ'd, I've added commands on shortcuts, I've done every single thing humanly possible on my side and know without a doubt, that this is a issue on GGG's side.

At this point I throw my hands in the air in defeat. I'll wait for support to reply, that's the only option I have left.

Yeah, I made an uber lab farm build this league too, and these problems are very frustrating.

My issue is similar to yours. Whenever I enter a loading screen there seems to be a small chance for the game to just crash. I get a 'pathofexile.exe has stopped working...' message and then crash to desktop. Mapping doesn't seem to be too much of an issue, but lab specifically is very prone to crashing. Already lost about 5 offerings due to crashes and don't plan on running lab anymore until GGG addresses these issues. I've changed all of my graphic settings to low, play on DX 9, ran in fullscreen/windowed/borderless windowed, and nothing seems to help.
