[3.7] life Mjolner done right by Rico - Juggernaut version (all content viable) this is a buff!

This is gonna be a really dumb question but where do u find all the dex and strength to carry mjolner? like what am i doing wrong? im -70 int and dexterity :/

You need to be creative, these are the 2 stats that you will be starving for. Here are some ways you can get the stats you need:

1) Make sure that you have the maximum possible INT on your Inya's boots
2) Use corrupted Romira's ring
3) Find a rare ring with your missing stats
4) Cap the rest using jewels

Path of Building is also great for doing this kind of analysis.
It's too bad PoB doesnt allow for the inclusion of triggers in the damage calculations. This throws the projected damage numbers WAY off.

Discharge does 30% Less damage when triggered
Mjolner adds 100% increased damage when triggering.

I crowbarred it in by editing the stats of mjolner 'item text':

is that taking into account the 30%less when triggering and not manually discharging? PoB doesnt do that by default (nor the 100% increased to triggered lightning spells)?

Therrinian, im just kill Mino w\o life\res mods in 20 sec => ~500k DPS.
Also Discharge deal 35% less dmg + PoB cant work with Militant Faith (~15% more DPU) + does not know how much charges you have befor Discharge.

I've done a lot of probability calculations and if I recall my stat course at uni correctly these should be the expected values for charges:

scold's with +1 power charge (or other helmet with 30% chance to not consume charges):
3.98 power charges
5.48 endurance charges

strangely enough 30% chance to not consume charges nets about the same as the self harm on scolds with +1 power charges...
within 0.1


Obvious best in slot is a scold's with 30% chance to not consume charges with +1 power charges corruption but those don't exist.

those damage numbers are far off from the 5/7 or 6/7 max charges.


tbh im not worried about guardians and shaper, but uber elder becomes much more unmanageable if you let the fight drag on.

Therrinian, i play with 5\5 charge and near 100% charges gen so i bail on any calcs)

I think enchant pretty bad, we lose 30% life\sec from body and got extra %inc crit for all hits (lower chance for charge gen).

Can we use an avarage crit chance in calc?
Example
Mjoln hit have 3 state: 0 charges (critical discharge), 1 charges (non-crit discharge), cap (non-crit discharge + inya's boot) => 5 * (100-100) + 5 * (100-100+40*1) + 5 * (100-100+40*6) => 5 * (40*7) / 3 * 0.01 => ~4.7 crit chance => 71,475% chance for 1 charge and 23,825% chance for 6 (cap) => ~2,14 charges\hit.
But this calc does't take into account the chance of a particular state of 3.
