GGG: Autoloot feature coming soon?
It's disgusting how long it takes to pick up all the crap from breaches, etc. They won't add stuff like that though, as that would be quality of life.

Yes, the bot issue is the problem here. So, while I would love to have a feature built into my loot filter I understand why it is likely not possible. Now, AH with a x transactions a day per account? Winner. Come on man.

Sure, there should be autoloot for currency. I'm not lazy, but game became FAR TOO FAST. Auto-loot for currency is a neccessity for PoE now. All fast-paced games have auto-loot feature, and most ARPGs have it too. I dont understand, why PoE cant have it. As for bots - game should be made for players, not against bots. And bots dont care much about autoloot, then pick up loot even without that feature anyway.

" Nope! :D I actually had a conversation about this on a forum for another game a while back that had a massive botting problem and the solution was simple : invisible "Legit" items. A human player can't see them and can't pick them up, even with a filter...but a Bot? A bot will click on it until the cows come home, especially if it's a high-ranked item like, say, a Headhunter. Bot would get stuck for hours trying to pick up the legit item (that can't be picked up), get flagged, give hours of evidence, and *bam*...out in the banwave. Same thing would also work with packs of enemies that take/deal no damage...bots sitting around attacking packs of mobs that stay where they are for ages. Could possibly do the same thing with fake Shared Storages that are actually mobs and move around, so you can make bots move into packs for easy fucking with. |
