It's the same in the Overwatch community, btw - open up any thread about the latest tempest in a teapot (in this case: the Mei costume bug that made her look skinnier than she is, and also made her waist appear actually broken) and you'll find a ratio of about 10:1 of people complaining about SJWs trying to make Mei fat to actual people complaining that they made Mei skinny (or, more commonly, 10:0, because the latter category is about as common as the MRAs who called for a boycott to Fury Road because of feminist themes).

I don't have a problem with the armband. I agree that it seems like a fairly lazy design shorthand - it's pretty obviously modeled after this:



(And no, the fact that other people use armbands does not in any way distract from the similarities; there is a reason none of those other armbands have a red background and a white circle overlaid with a black symbol; there are certain things which just iconically say "nazi".)

But it's hardly a dealbreaker, and if it is the worst visual design in the game (I doubt it, some of the MTX are stupidly ugly), that really speaks only to how overall good the visual design is that such a minor quibble even registers. The only triggered person I see in this thread is the OP, who found a handful of people unimpressed by the graphical design and turned it into "SJW/PC bitching about Nazi armbands". Get over yourself, man.
