You probably don't have enough life regen or a high enough level Purity of Fire, or some mixture of both. RF burns us for 90% of our maximum life per second, which is then mitigated by our Fire Resist. So for example, if you managed to get 90% fire res and 10% max life regeneration per second, you would be able to activate RF and not lose any life. My build aims for way more regen than 10%, so we overkill on the regen and can heal ourselves passively with RF active.

I read that it didnt work properly but im not sure if it has been fixed yet.

IF it works it should be BiS for RF dmg ?


also: Whats better: doon cuyebiyari OR doryanis catalyst? does the ele-leech work for RF ?


1 more thing, im using this for dmg boost

should i swap for a marble amulet or keep ?

Just bought the cauterizer and now i am levelling in Dried Lake.
This is at lvl 51 and without any Two Handed Dmg Nodes but i already feel and see a difference.
My DPS doubled just by equipping the Axe. So i think this will do the trick.
The first Voll kill felt good. Wasn´t too fast but not too slow either.
Compared to my Dominus kill before which felt like an eternity, this was definetly better.
I will take the 4 Two Handed Damage Nodes between Barbarism and Born to Fight,
then hope that this will be enough to make it to lvl 65 until i can get RF going
and ascend to this characters true form. Thanks for the advice.
