Some content is designed to be a hard counter to certain builds.

Have a squishy char what has problems with physical damage? Better find something to counter that with, either Granite, Basalt, Coil, or shatter.

For my Aegis tank, the problems are chaos damage, huge hits (aka Core Malachai) and vulnerability corrupting blood stacks. (however it can facetank everything else, including Uber Izaro)

My point is, when you plan your build, you also need to plan for it's weaknesses, not only it's damage multipliers...

Bad argument. If you can kill 1000's of enemies, then an enemy should be able to kill you 1000's of times. No, monsters and players are not equivalent. Monsters don't have fun, they are there to generate fun for the player. Monsters don't purchase MTXs from the shop, players do. The game doesn't ever need to be "fair" to monsters.


And on the flipside, fair to players either. Because if I could do some of the stuff mobs in POE do...

Bug Fixes:
People were using cyclone for actual melee builds, so we nerfed it and made blade vortex. Also, we went ahead and made cyclone great for CoC casters while we were at it.
