Porcupines - VERY UNFAIR MECHANIC
I have bitched about this for a while now so here we go again. Maybe someone at GGG will finally take notice.
Im an elementalist. I enter a map. See a pack of skellys. Blast them. One missile makes it off screen. Hits one offscreen porcupine. He catches fire. His buddies catch fire. Boom im dead. This is before I even know porcupines are on the map. No chance to leave. Just your dead. If I know they are there there are plenty of things I can do. No complaints there. Its the one shot goes off screen and your dead reflect mechanic. Yes technically its a reflect. GGG. You fixed up the reflect mechanic... this needs adjustment also. Everyone agrees they are stupid and imbalanced. However, everyone also uses cwdt + IC (for players without armour, this is mostly because of porcupines ). So, it all balances out in the end. Cwdt+IC also helps against those tentacle miscreations and those barrage chimeras as well.
Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

CWDT + Immortal Call highly unlikely to die, in maps where there are porcupines a simple enduring cry now and then don't see how it can be a problem.

" If I can recall correctly, tentacle miscreations deals both fire AND physical damage. They can hit pretty hard if you lack armor or evasion/dodge. Yep, fire and phys. Fire isn't much of an issue though because of fire resist. You need evasion/armour or IC to deal with the phys part.

CWDT and IC is not the end all solution. That and not every class or build has room Enduring cry or other defensive mechanics. I run cwdt and several defensive mechanics including a totem to hide behind and soak up damage.
IC is the warning bell. You better do something. When its gone and the bolts keep coming your just plain and simple screwed. If you know they are there its not a problem. Hide behind a totem, wall tree, pets etc. Keep moving helps alot too. But when a super pack of blues is going off just off screen and not at the same time ts not going to be good. burn propagates and usually not all at once. The aggro from that one missile could have several packs going of in one very long chain. The mechanic needs to be toned down or have them only explode with a certain distance of you. Perhaps say while in visual range. Not an off screen machine gun of balista bolts. NS |

Lol there a fucking joke now should of seen them pre-nerfed now that was unfair this is fucking tame compared to the originals.
