Izaro has far too much life (or too much trap coverage)
Lol this thread can't be for real. Normal Izaro is perfectly fine :/. I face tank him on caster builds in normal-that's when you know something is doable(cloak of flame+AA + 3 endurance charges witch lol).I never done Izaro higher than 35 in normal, so this thread is puzzling to me.
Someone legit just said its impossible before act 4? wtf? lol. Tabula Rasa is a noob trap.. Every time I see people lvling with it in normal I gotta face palm. A 200 ev/ar 4L chest is better than tabula rasa in normal in every way shape and form. Maybe you are not the source of the suckage. Honestly maybe you have bad flasks. I typically run a jade/granite (depending on main defence), 1 catalysed and 1 instant. This covers normal hits and spike hits, a quicksilver (when shit hits the fan, if you can't catch me, you can't kill me) when you need to wait on adds for flask charges and a mana flask if needed. Izaro doesn't even use teleport on normal. I really don't get it :/. It's not even a matter of having twink gear, at the start of leagues I ascend before going to act 4 using recipe gear. So this thread really is mind blowing lol I'm trying to understand. |

The fact that you think you are guaranteed to have both a granite and a jade flask by level 30 is part of the problem with this conversation. People are making up their own rules as they go along.
Obviously a well rolled granite flask, which will grant you up to 6000 armor at level 33, will get you through Izaro as long as you can maintain it. Why don't we just make our character have goldrim too. And a pair of mightflay. And multiple guaranteed four links with perfectly capped resists and well rolled life and armor in every fucking slot. Because you know, when you're starting out in a new league that's totally a reasonable expectation. You don't balance normal difficulty content around everyone having twink shit. Fucking Christ. my evasion is so high i only insta rip sometimes ----- Bug Fixes: People were using cyclone for actual melee builds, so we nerfed it and made blade vortex. Lol at the arbitrarily set 3-link limitation. Why not 2? :))
At lvl ~35 you have at least one 4L item, why would you limit yourself at 3? Oh, because Lab haters want to "prove" the Lab is bad and nasty. --- If you go in with a Tabula, you better DPS the shit out of Izaro, else it's more smart to go in with a regular defensive chest and a 4L. In Normal diff. you prob. wont be able to support a full DPS 6L, therefore a Tabula is not a good idea. But for Cruel is a great option. With twink gear, that everyone has on their second, third char in league, Izaro is a joke. SF levelling items, no prob. --- In any case, who said every boss must be defeat-able at their zone level? That's why the lab is optional and goes in parallel with quest progression - so you can skip it and come back later. Lab is the perfect risk / reward, that gives you the option to grab more power now, if you put the effort, or do it later more safely. I''m telling you guys just wait. I seriously did normal at 75. Not because I didnt think i could do it earlier but less time spent in there the better. Did Cruel right after that. Waiting for like 82 to do merc. I breeze though it in less than 8 min.
PS have a granite and basalt flasks at least and you laugh at him trying to damage you. uber is a little different. must bring big DPS too. I dont understand if you dont like the lab why you'd want to linger in there for long periods. Even if I made most OP quaduruple bladefall totem build with 1000 life regen i'd still wait till gems were leveled 17 at least and could DPS everything down quick. Git R Dun! " Wait a minute... Are you saying you skip the optional side zone, for the time when you have good DPS and 30% movespeed boots, so that you avoid slogging trough at zero MS and thus save time...? Do you optimize your gameplay for efficiency, hm...? Grab this heretic!! Burn him!!! :P When night falls

Well fact is Izaro is unoptimzed for many builds. Like any build that relies on Vaal gems. Like I can one shot all map boss with VRF up to 15 not so with izaro because zero charged.. any build that relies on Power charges...how do you generate over 3/4 of your map DPS starting 1 on 1 with Izaro? and so on... ES based because you simply have shit ES gear until 68... so yeah best to wait for many. I can accept that and do.

Well he´s OP to his lvl thats true. But same with malachai (cruel - 1, 2. act are just piece of cake compared to him).

" Yeah, beating the Lab with your first char in a new league is not trivial, but at least he's optional, unlike Act bosses. People have been overlevelling bosses for ages (esp. in HC), so I don't see a problem here. Malachai is not a trivial fight either, and what do you get for defeating it? Just a pass to the next faceroll acts, while Izaro gives you opieop ascendancy points. Normal Izzy has also been nerfed at least once, that I remember, maybe twice. Cruel Izaro might be easier, relative to Normal, because at that point you are geared up better for the content. Cruel can be done under-levelled, even severely under-levelled, if you have good twink gear. It is more about build type / play-style than gear in my opinion, Morbo.
as said previously I recently beat him in HC with a Spell Totems build - and that works against both him and Malachai, because you just place totems and they deal damage for you, while you can focus entirely on dodging and positioning. But for a build that deals direct damage (or heck, melee) - that screen full of traps is just a boss-kiter's worst nightmare no less than Malachai's screen full of crap. which means you either get a ridiculous weapon (see axe above) or gem for that level... or you will spend many long minutes just dodging traps and chipping away at his HP... exponentially increasing your chances to get destroyed in 3 seconds of lost focus. There is no need for the fight to be this long if a player already proved his ability to avoid traps and focus on the boss at the same time. or, there is no need for so much trap-dodging if the fight is this long. my Prince Of Persia powers are weak. I always find a way to get spiked. Alva: I'm sweating like a hog in heat Shadow: That was fun Dernière édition par johnKeys#6083, le 11 juil. 2016 à 17:28:32
