Izaro has far too much life (or too much trap coverage)
" The OP waited until half way through cruel and is using a Tabula. The people replying are probably like 'wtf you don't need to do that'. I usually kill Dominus first since you need to go to the hedge maze to activate labyrinth, and by that stage I just like to keep the flow going. I come back from the aqueduct or Highgate to do the Lab. So like level 36-ish? Lunaris and the sceptre of god are both good warm-ups to the lab. Tenacle miscrations make sure your defenses don't completely suck. Piety makes sure your single-target dps is OK. Sceptre makes sure your clear speed is decent, and you are mentally ready to walk around in a maze for years with no end in sight (In case Lunaris II didn't prepare you for that already!) Dominus fight makes sure you understand how to read the wiki, and work out what to do in different stages of a boss fight. If you can handle those with no issue then Lab will not be difficult. Here are the things you should have by end of act 3: Flasks: At least 2 colossal life flasks. (Sacred are OK too) Magic ones are better but not needed. 1 colossal mana flask 1 quicksilver flask At least one of those flasks should have anti-bleeding on it for dominus fight. Resists: As much fire resist as you can get. 75% ideally. You probably had OK cold resist for Act I, and lightning resist for act II and III, but fire resist can be easy to forget about. Buy or make some fire resist rings if you haven't got good fire resist by now. The green Izaro balls are fire damage. Weapon: a +1 to gems 3L weapon if you are a spell user. (easy to get from drops, and there's even a vendor recipe if you are unlucky.) If you are an attack user, then don't attempt the lab if you have been really unlucky and have a very crappy weapon and can't afford (or don't want to buy) a decent 1c/1alc unique for your build. (There are vendor recipes to help you here, too!) Life: At least 1.2k life. Pretty easy to get with a bit of life on gear, even for Shadow and Witch. Might be tricky if you are struggling with fire resist *and* life though, so in that case wait a few levels until you get an upgrade. Once you've got all that stuff, it's just about Izaro strategy. Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

The amount of troll in this thread is outstanding
10/10 Don't worry johnkeys, the trolls are out in force but I'm pretty sure anyone who actually plays the game knows what's up. my evasion is so high i only insta rip sometimes ----- Bug Fixes: People were using cyclone for actual melee builds, so we nerfed it and made blade vortex. While it may be an overly long battle at the proper level (and some trap combinations in that fight are somewhat hard to avoid with all the shit on screen), it's generally manageable. It's the kind of boss that requires practicing it a lot to play relaxedly.

" Holy shit dude you are mental. I'm the first one to complain about overtuned content and I'm entirely against FOTM builds and "meta", running only for fun makeshift builds, I have never used a tabula in my life either. If you want overtuned content then look at stuff like act 4 Piety, Maligaro and Malachai. That shit is just frustrating, unfun and fueled by portal abuse for many builds. |

I've personally never had issues with any of the labyrinth content in normal on any of my characters. I've done the normal lab on 3 characters this league:
My BV Assassin (first character of league): began run at level (33), ended at lvl 35. Was using entirely rare or magic self found gear. My Discharge Jugg (using firestorm at the time): began run at level 33, ended at 35. Was using a Reverberation Rod (Firestorm + Controlled Destruction + Fire Pen + lvl 1 Spell Echo). My ST TGU Assassin: Began run at level 33, ended at 35. Using The Goddess Scorned with a 4L (ST + LMP + Added Fire + Inc Crit). A few things about Izaro: 1) There are always locations in the room that will be safe at all times, unless you let a specific phase (idols) activate. 2) Properly completing each prior fight makes the final fight much easier. 3) Normal (and Cruel) Izaro used to be much harder than they are now. " Portal abuse enables you to do things you couldn't normally do sure, but they're part of the game and it's fair to say the content is balanced around them. Izaro has no such mechanic, and I've played every leveling build from viper strike to bladefall miner and while I've never been in danger of DYING to Izaro himself (fuck the traps though), literally every time I have tried to do Izaro at the level of the zone I have run out of flask charges and been forced to bail an unwinnable fight. Frequently on the first battle. Now it's fair to say "well you didn't put enough sustain/boss fighting stuff in your inventory for a boss fight", but then I never had to do that for maligaro, piety, malachai, daresso, or kaom either. And I've never had to bail any of those fights even once, not even daresso with pure EV builds. So frankly, when you're telling me "I do izaro just fine, but man the act 4 bosses are OP" I think you're full of shit just like everyone else in here saying they do izaro with a 3 link and self found gear at level 33 without preparation. Sorry, but that's the reality. You start cruel like everyone else and go back after you get to act 2 or 3, at the earliest. Or you unnecessarily overprepare for lab and bring tons of extra shit you'd never bring to a normal act boss fight just so you can waste your time completing lab earlier instead of breezing through act 1 and 2. Anything you say to the contrary is bullshit and every idiot reading these forums who has actually DONE LAB knows that fact damn well. I'd really like to see your attempt at doing elementals as a melee build without severely overleveling/overgearing the content, that would be some funny shit honestly. And no, frost blades/lightning strike/EQ and the like are not melee builds. my evasion is so high i only insta rip sometimes ----- Bug Fixes: People were using cyclone for actual melee builds, so we nerfed it and made blade vortex. The way the run went, was I cleared the 1st phase but let one statue through in the 2nd phase.
so in the final fight he had one buff (Idol of Storm... or something). if that is the amount of life Izaro has in the final fight, affected by just one buff - I'd hate to imagine how he is when affected by 3 or more. Guys if you managed to beat him at level 33 with 3-linked self-found gear and gems for that level - I salute you. to me, that genuinely seems like an impossible task... you can't honestly compare him to Piety or Dominus, or even to most Act 4 bosses. In my opinion, bosses should either not be a DPS-check or be kite-able if they are. well Izaro IS a DPS check with the amount of life he has. DPS most players can't muster with a Normal-difficulty character. and kiting him properly is barely an option when most of the room is traps. I'm fine with traps being in the room while fighting him. not with the room itself being almost entirely traps.
Spoiler
especially not when one of the traps happens to be Darts which is just BS... getting slowed right when this guy charges at you...
Darts should not be allowed to spawn in this fight at all So I think one or the other needs to be reduced. Alva: I'm sweating like a hog in heat Shadow: That was fun Dernière édition par johnKeys#6083, le 10 juil. 2016 à 01:15:34
