Izaro has far too much life (or too much trap coverage)

after several times going back to Normal Labyrinth with maps-grade characters, I finally ascended properly: a level 40 Scion who's in Act 4 Normal.
pretty much target-audience for Normal Labyrinth.

except she's anything but "Normal": a Tabula-Rasa 6-linked Lacerate + a Goddess Scorned, which pretty much instantly melts anything in her path, because that's an insane overkill of the content.
not to mention something many people don't see until Merciless, if at all.

it took me a few minutes to take him down... all the while navigating an area roughly 70% of which are traps.
at times the damage just skyrockets when one gets spiked AND hit by him at the same time.
note I pretty much cruised through the rest of the labyrinth and its traps and level 33ish monsters with ease.

I understand the fight is meant to be dangerous, but frankly I don't see how a Normal character is supposed to get past that.
Normal being preferably around that level/content, and preferably self-found.

please balance him closer to the difficulty of the actual area he's in.
less life (no need to artificially prolong and already out-of-control fight), or less than "whole area is one giant trap" on final phase, or both.

true for my other chars who came back to Normal Labyrinth from end-Merciless and maps, and have years worth of gear.
and it stiĺl wasn't a one-shot.

but for a character in Normal to take on him in Normal, with normal gear, I don't see how it can be done currently.
and you can't "no life" the first difficulty.

Sadly streamers don't play normal difficulty so this problem will be very low on GGG's priorities.
You are missing important info here. Did you kill all of the helpers in the first two fights?

If you let some charges or the fire essence through, that would explain why his health seemed so high in the final fight.

Normal Izaro is too powerful for his level. I usually just get to merciless act3 and do normal and cruel then.

With my first character this league I tried, when first unlocking the laby, for 5 minutes to take down his first form, then gave up. It was charges so his defense and offense were through the roof and I couldn't get him down with just the 3 charge removers.
We fight to delay the end because it's the means that matter.
Normal Izaro has already been nerfed. I did him right after killing Dominus this league on a crappy melee with 4l. You might want to learn what his buff effects do and when to disable them.

this, when he gets golems or charges things can get realy nasty.

golems and buffing devices could use an HP reduction, having to kill 3 totems while izaro is going on a rampage can be quite anoying. and dont get me started on those dam golems, one needs to kill the golems while at the same time keep them away from izaro, bonus if you have to do it with a melee skill.

Seriously I'd love to see one of you clowns doing normal izaro with a 3L at the same level you finish act 3 using gear you found yourself. Bug Fixes:
People were using cyclone for actual melee builds, so we nerfed it and made blade vortex. Also, we went ahead and made cyclone great for CoC casters while we were at it.

I do normal labyrinth starting at level 31-34 usually meaning yeah, i have a 3-4 link. Obviously it depends on my build, sometimes i won't do labby until like lvl 38 before or even after i finish act 4 but I typically do izaro before (got those +2 skill points from piety :D) or right after dominus. And I usually make really bad builds. I really like to get ascendency points early: makes having shit gear less of a problem when u got op ascendancy points

The first time i did labby i started at 34 and ended up like 36 by the last room cuz ... it was the first time I did labby and wanted to explore. To give an idea how bad the build was it was a cast on melee kill character doing pre-nerfed normal izaro.

I agree izaro has way too much life... makes it boring as fuck but its sure as hell doable.
