Solution for Windows 7 vc_redist.x64 not installing/repairing/errors

Thanks Lepre, It worked for me! On win 8.1 64. I installed KB2999226, I installed the normal redistr ( or at least the installer says so ), but I cant install the "for visual studio" version. It still try to install KB2999226, even if its installed! :(

lol this is so ridiculous that we're trying to solve a GGG's problem FFS!

Not a GGGs problem,the two main reasons for this is:

1.Pirated copy and not knowing how to download secure updates for windows.
2.Legal copy with missing windows updates.

There's a lot of things to moan about when it comes to GGG and their game client (esp. performance) but there is a difference between them messing up and you lacking the competence to even so much as google the error code before proceeding to place blame on anyone but your self.
