GGG, don't favour streamers for CBT access.
" Well I was responding to the topic. But anyways gratz o.o |

Streamers are few (esp ones with 1+ million views... ah lel, my 1,3k views XD), so I wouldn't say giving them all access would be bad. They earned it, as some other people said.
Spoiler
It is funny, but if some "baby-streamers" like myself would get access to the beta, they'd get a free-ride chance to get some more views. Ah lel, the irony XD
Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.
Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge. | |
" True, but I am always surprised why people get salty at streamers/youtubers who get early access to games. They are the new breed of whats essentially free marketing while also receiving quality and knowledgeable feedback with the added bonus of (potentially) video proof of issues. It makes little sense to not take advantage of this and knowing GGG the beta will ramp up quickly after the first week or two |

" How the hell did they earn it? Sure let's ignore all the ones who can only play a limited time every day due to having a busy life working hard and having to feed their family, anddddd let's focus and spoon-feed the already spoon-fed who stream for the sole purpose of getting money and attention from their fanboys. Looks like real life to be honest: the more of an attention-seeker/egoist you are, the more you are worshiped! There are so few of the streamers who actually help their viewers and answer their questions - they are awesome and they are the ones who should be prioritized. But just because you like showing-off doesn't mean that you deserve it. |

Here's an interesting video on the subject, made today by a streamer who helped bring PoE into its current state (controversies aside etc.) Kripparrian:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4pXqB2LKro To be a streamer, with over a million views, requires time, effort and is in essence a job. Perhaps you don't see it that way, but they earn an income, they help themselves/their families and spend a large part of their day doing it. I'll paraphrase Charan here: If you think it's that easy, go do it. |

" I can tell you why I don't like them: As you say, they're a "new breed" of gamers, a new breed of accessing games, playing and marketing them. And I just don't like they way of gaming they promote (minmaxing, playing to win, using any means possible, including cheats). Well, I guess I'm just anachronistic, then ;-) Edit: I forgot to add, some of them are doing good work for PoE, so I guess the big ones have in some way earned it. Then again, so might have wiki proprietors and generous supporters. A sword he brought, his foes to maim and rend, from places dark behind forbidden doors, But night by night he woke with frighten'd roars from darkest dreams, too strange to comprehend. The jelly is still real.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
