Endless loading screens, and game crashes from time to time

I've been running PoE flawlessly for around 1 year with all settings maxed at 80+ fps and no latency problems. Within the last week I've been having two different issues.

The first problem is that from time to time I'll get stuck in endless loading screens. This seems to happen when changing instances, but not every time. This mainly happens in the Sceptre of god (upper and lower), but can happen in other places. Sometimes I can change instances 25+ times without a problem, and sometimes it will only take 1-2. This also doesn't seem limited to loading new instances, as I've crashed when accidentally entering old instances.

The second problem happens much less often. But was frequently happening on May 27/28th. Any players or monsters in my instance will stop moving/attacking and I'll be unable to cast any spells, but I can still run around. When this is happening I'm able to open the menu, but none of the buttons work (not even exit game). Every time this happens I will hit f1 to check my latency and it's always stuck at 0. After about 10-20 seconds I will get kicked out to the main menu with an error message along the lines of "an unexpected disconnect has occurred". The strange part is that while this is occurring I can still hear and talk to people on skype or raidcall with no disconnects/lag.

If i find a fix for either of these problems I'll post back.

Edit:I just had a mixture of these two problems. I got stuck in a load screen and alt tabbed for a few minutes. When i looked back I was sitting in the eternal lab able to walk around with a constant 0 latency, unable to click any buttons on the menu or cast any spells. While all this was happening I didn't disconnect from skype, my music kept streaming, and steam stayed logged in.
Edit2:I was also able to open my friends list by hitting S and could see people online, but was unable to join any chat channels

Edit 2 (Possible fix):I ran a player made Ggpk Defragmenter and these dcs are now happening much less frequently. I only experienced one dc in about 4 hours of play (excluding one dc while entering palace dom's room). Within this last week, before running this tool, I would have experienced closer to 2-3 dcs per hour.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having this trouble. It sounds like you may be dealing with a mix of issues. Would you be able to run a WinMTR report? You can find more information about this here:

https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/361292

Please run it for 5-10 minutes or until the packet readout is at at least 500.

If you could also post a DxDiag report by going to Start->Run->"DxDiag"->Save text to file that would be really helpful.

If you require any more info from my DxDiag report just ask :).

Edit : Can't make that chart not appear broken. Sorry lol.

Edit 2: Just thought I'd add that I never live stream myself playing. I will often stream music or podcasts while playing though.

You need to update your video drivers. They are MANY years old.

Hmm I must have messed up updating them. Will update now.

Edit: Windows says my drivers are up to date. Will manually update.

GPU Drivers are now up to date and the endless loading screen didn't get fixed. Just happened to me going from lower to upper Sceptre of God.
You can't trust Windows to tell you when to update your graphics drivers. Windows doesn't usually know. Not to mention, it's best to get drivers right from the source... the manufacturer. You wouldn't trust Windows to have all the latest drivers for everything all the time would you?

As for the endless loading... sounds like it might be a network problem between zones. Usually these end in a disconnection back to the main menu.. but not always.

Do you have any antivirus/firewall/security software which might be interfering with the connecting or client at all?

I can't think of anything that would be interfering. I haven't installed or changed anything like that on my pc recently. The only thing that I can think of would be that I updated MSI Afterburner to the latest version, which I don't think would be causing this. And once again this problem only happens with PoE. I don't have any disconnect problems, or anything similar to these problems with any other games or applications (I play a lot of online games).
I just had a mixture of these two problems.

Edit: I was also able to open my friends list by hitting S and could see people online, but was unable to join any chat channels.

Edit 2: My friend who's just starting PoE is having the exact same problems as me, playing on a different internet connections.
