Spell totem and ranged attack totem gems are now vendor trash

Whoops typo in OP. Fixed it. And was that sarcasm? I have never seen a single instance of someone using spell totem gem in game. I don't play that much but come on. And I bet people don't even pick up the Ranged Attack Totem gem when it drops.

I always pick up support gems. Support gems always have value. Except for Ranged Attack Totem gems who have 0 value. Flat zero.

Why is it so important to use spell totem to provide feedback? Do you use a spell totem? You do? Hahahah, why would you do that, it sucks. lol u must b noob.

Speaking of dual totems.... and I know this is sorta off topic, has anyone tried tried this pair of spell totems: 1 with desecrate and 1 with detonate dead? With the detonate dead one set up for ignite and elemental proliferation and the desecrate one set for speed casting maybe...

Sorry, I didn't respond because you made sense and wasn't pissing me off (no sarcasm). You also said they're pushing spell totems and RAT gems away from being their own builds, which I completely agree. The gems are definitely overnerfed, and making builds around those gems are no longer viable.

Well, thats a shame... I was told to try it but didn't drag my lazy butt in time to get it set up and it sounded sorta fun to play and watch... like a PoE micheal bay movie only actually enjoyable.
