This seems to have been answered in the thread already, but just to be clear I'd like to get an answer from a dev (or anyone) if possible.
ZO uses the ES total as the base for ES regen? So lets say I had (random numbers for illustration) 1000 HP, 100 ES and 1% life leech. With ZO I would regen 1 ES per second not 10? This is not what I would have expected from the keystone description. Perhaps it can be re-worded? EDIT: I meant to say in my example that I had 1% life regen, not leech. " With Zealot's Oath, leech does not apply to energy shield. That is Ghost Reaver. ZO uses your ES pool instead of your HP pool for percentage based regeneration. HowCouldThisHappenToMee (Hardcore Talisman)

should add something like a ~1.5 multiplier to your life regen because as it is i can't see it ever geing worth it and/or practical.
and even with a 1.5-2x regen rate buff i don't know if it would be? (or would require you to spec well around it) ign = ultrahiangle

Since this is supposedly designed for armor/es gear, does that mean the only way to make it work (with the design) is to go for gear regen instead of pst regen?
gear regen - fixed value so it doesn't matter that armor/es gear has such low es pst regen - % value so it really matters that es from the intended gear is so low |

What if my energy shield is full? Does it then regain my Health?

Zealots Oath itself needs to additionally increase health regen by 1% or have a node behind it that gives 1.5% life regen

How ZO works with health flasks? If I activate health flask, does it start to restore my ES instead of Life?

ZO works well with a hybrid ar/es build, but only if you use Rejuvenation Totem and continually protect/resummon it. ZO with Rejuv Totem synergizes well with Inner Force, too. You aren't losing much because life regen is much less useful if you have a lot of ES and/or aren't using BM. You gain stun resistance and it saves on life flask charges. ZO is also one of the only ways to make ES worthwhile for melee.
