I'm using a NetGear N300 Wireless Router. I've checked the settings on my router and I believe I see what you're talking about in my wireless settings.

There's a drop menu for channel. It's currently set to [Auto] but it has numbered channels 01 to 11. Is this what you were talking about?

Yes it is.

If you try changing it to the various other settings it has, you may find one that performs better and thus resolve this issue you're having.

Let us know if none of them improve the situation.

I did another scan and I'm no longer having losses on the first node but losses have slightly increased from the last test in the other post

Cheers for that!

Looking at the trace with the change in place:
| 10.0.0.1 - 0 | 77 | 77 | 1 | 1 | 6 | 1 |
There's no more packet loss between you and your modem.

However now we're seeing packet loss on the 2nd hop:
| 192.168.1.254 - 20 | 89 | 72 | 0 | 2 | 5 | 2 |
This looks like it could still be something to do with your setup, as that IP address is a local one.
Do you have multiple routers/switches?

No, I only have The NetGear Wireless router and a modem. That IP is the default DHCP gateway assigned by my ISP.

In that case I would recommend contacting them, as there appears to be an issue with your connection.

Thank you, sir! I will contact then when I can and try to sort this thing out.
My ISP is AT&T, has anyone else had similar issues with them?

I'm from Germany ... What's wrong with the European Server?

Unfortunately now unplayable (horror ping) ...

Please fix it.

German Telekom is wrong there. DTAG and Frankfurt/"Level 3" are causing trouble, not only for PoE I discovered. It seems they have some capacity trouble there, nothing GGG can change except try to avoid that knot.

It's not an issue that we can simply fix, otherwise we would have done so.
If you contact your provider you can get them to investigate the issue further, and the more people that report the problem, the more likely they are to actually do something about it.

Telekom already is aware of this issue, many useres have reported it into the official T-Online forums, I've discovered huge threads there about this problem. Service says they are "working on it" but not much more. I would translate this with "FU" but let's wait and hope. ^^

Here is the thread with some answers from Telekom included so if you can read german, "enjoy": ;)

People just need to realize that different games require different things to function. Some need a high end video card, some need a powerful CPU, some need reliable internet, and some need multiple.

While we all know desynch is a problem with this game that the devs are working on, I talk to so many people every day that struggle with horrible desynch, and after I troubleshoot with them a bit 90% of it is gone.

GGG is the only company that sits here and holds peoples hands through diagnosing their setup, and it's something I wouldn't expect from any company, but since it's here use them if you don't know someone who can help you with it. This game runs really well on my expensive computer and my fiancee's 10 year old computer with a few tweaks to ram and vid card. It's all about your net stability.

When this issue comes up in other games, the answer is always to buy more ram or a better video card. GGG can offer you a free way to improve the issues, so just take advantage of it.

Thank you for the information! :)

Cheers, appreciate the feedback :D
I go from being able to play the game fine, to massive lag/DC issues that make it unplayable. This is the only game where this occurs (literally all my other online games have no issues) and its highly frustrating.

I'm basically considering quitting, even though I love the game because all the random lag is too frustrating.
