If you have lag/connectivity issues making the game unplayable/annoying, post here and be counted.

Heres link to my lag complain post http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/77685.
For the latest 4 days 4 out of my 5 characters died in HC due to lag freeze.

Updated the OP with the list of users consistently experiencing issues in lag/connectivity that make the game unplayable.

But I left out those who seem to have only experienced it today, such as these three:

Im getting massive lag, but not disconnected...I eventually (after 2-4 minutes) exit myself out. New player, wasn't happening at all last night, but it is tonight.

Stacov a écrit :
also getting lag only started within the last hr, goes from 200-2000ms :(

Having the same issue. Getting horrible FPS and lag; it only just started today...after the downtime.

Might just be a temporary problem for you three. Report back here if you are consistently unable to play the game though.

FYI, I've send PMs to some users from GGG (Russell, Chris, BrianWeissman, Rhys, Damien_GGG, Joel_GGG, Rory)... let's see if they really care to give this issue any notice and reply / opine on the problem.
For me:
- Unplayable random lag
- frequent disconnects

*edit. All good now. Thx GGG, outstanding job!

I tried downloading WIN MTR and the download page would not load for me so instead I used the dos prompt to ping. My ping shows this data however in game using the F1 window I get spikes from 200ms up to 3000ms. I can run around a rubberband like full game windows. When I swing on monsters it can take 2-10 seconds for the hit to even register. I am not blaming or holding any feelings against GGG, this is open beta and I expect issues. I did play in the closed beta and had no issues with lag for the most part, there where certain times it wasn't perfect but all this beta testing some issues are expected. The last three days have bene like this for me and unfortunately I cannot play like this.

I have tried several times a day to see if the lag has changed, which as of now it has not. I will keep trying and have faith that GGG will either have a resolution or a plan soon to address as many concerns on their end that they can. Regardless they cannot fix everything being as online games like this also rely on the end users network stability.

You can throw me on the list of people who are affected and unable to play.
I did NOT play hardcore league for the only reason being wanting to share gear with friends and trading but I really wanted to finish the game with zero deaths.

My first death was in vaal area in cruel difficulty.

My screen froze. I kept clicking the waypoint nothing would happen I'd click my portal skill nothing happens. I log out log back in.. you have one deaths :S

If I was in hardcore I wouldve been SO mad because on my screen there wasnt even a single enemy and now in act 3 cruel I'm having no problem not dying.

Having 100hp regen per sec in cruel is the only reason I survive the severe rubber banding but something seriously needs to be done about the servers.

considering the amount of threads / posts that have been created about the issue since open beta started, it's startling how GGG has not said anything about their infrastructure problem.

servers crashing is one thing... but the fact that they do not have enough servers to handle their customers is a different thing altogether.
As we've stated many times, we're working on resolving any connectivity issues. It may take some time - demand for the game is extremely high and the remaining issues are the most subtle ones. Thanks for your patience!

We have talked about the infrastructure and connectivity issues extensively. We've given extremely frequent updates through many channels (twitter, the forum, the website in red letters, the login screen of the game, in-game announcements, email to people who have asked us).

You've started several threads about this topic - I appreciate that you're trying to help, but I fear it's just distracting developers away from working on fixing the actual problems. All the server people worked through the weekend with low amounts of sleep.

We're really pleased the game is working well for most players, but will get it rock solid for the remaining ones also :)

Sorry, but GGG does not seem like they are going to respond to the issue. I feel like they really don't recognize something like this as a problem unless it affects everyone, which is just disappointing.

This problem has persisted since yesterday and I even created a thread (which was unfairly locked) compiling just a handful of those expressing their issues regarding connectivity and lag.

Problems I'm talking about are the following (or issues similar to the following):

- constantly getting disconnected/"an unexpected disconnection occurred"
- not being able to login/stuck at "Contacting server..."
- unbearable lag

If you're one of those people and you haven't given up on the game yet, post here and be counted. Let's see how many of us there really are.

^Is this guy serious?

Everyone was having lag for the last few days. That's because they got ddos'd on friday which is what led to the servers being lagggy and causing disconnects. They even mentioned plenty of times with global messages of the issues and that they're aware of it. Even had a patch for other problems causing crashes. They also had a queue system to make sure the servers didn't get overlaoded due to all the players trying to get on at the same time...you're just ignorant and aren't aware of their issues so you come on here to qq about things that's happening to everyone and not just you. Get some patience or go play minesweeper.
