If you have lag/connectivity issues making the game unplayable/annoying, post here and be counted.

Every time I load the game and go to town, I hit 1500 latency. This re-occurs every time I enter any town in the game in any difficulty between normal and merciless, whether it is populated or not. This makes me either sit for a few minutes for it or I get D/C'd and start the process of latency spiking again. The game did not used to do this until recently.

I lag using skill sometimes, but the worst lag I ever got was when I made a full party to kill Vaal. We were all in the same tiny room, everyone using their flashy skills, and the lag was absurd.

Has anyone came up with anything? Any kinda of help, I use a 560 ti nvidia card and think there might be something I can do with the settings? Other software on adjusting fps etc do not help.

Hi everyone. I have a super annoying problem I would love to have some help with....

I am playing PoE on a public network at my school and the game simple disconnects taking me back to the login screen after i select a charecter.

I know there is no problem with the network because my buddy can play on the same network and I can't.

I've ran the pak check...
allowed through firewall...
reset my ip settings through cmd line...

no progress past this problem.

If anyone can help it would be GREATLY apreciated.

This has been happening without end for me since sometime in the middle of the day yesterday. Constant disconnects without being able to go more than 5 minutes in between one of them. Have had 0 latency or disconnect problems, aside from server crashes, with this game up until yesterday and now suddenly its unplayable.

completely unplayable, can't even make it 1 minute into the game without losing all connection to the server

I'm having a large variety of issues.
For starters, around 20-30% of the times I start the game it gets stuck on checking or connecting (or does it for a long amount of time).
When I try to login:
1. Sometimes it just doesn't login without any error.
2. Sometimes it shows "unable to connect error".
3. Sometimes it loads with an empty character panel (usually manually entering password fixes that).
When I manage to login and press play:
1. Sometimes it gets stuck on contacting server.
2. Rarely it gets stuck on loading the map.

After I manage to login and start playing:
1. Most of the time it works well (80-110 ping with 150-160 spikes but no noticeable lag or spikes)
2. Rarely it is lagy (150-180 ping with frequent 500-1500 spikes, very noticeable.
3. Sometimes when its lagy I get 2-5 second lags.

Loading maps:

1. Sometimes it gets stuck on loading the map, happened on specific maps more often than others.
1. Sometimes it disconnects me with "failed to connect to instance error".




I have no firewall, MSE antivirus (tried disabling), windows 7 with firewall disabled.
Tried all the usual stuff (reseting everything, redownload, reinstall etc)
Tried connecting directly to my modem, didn't seem to help.

WESTERN AUSTRALIA PLAYER . The lag at the moment is only just bearable UNTILL act 3 then it basically makes the game unplayable.

I cant get technical at all with this lag. Switching between bow and melee is un-doable and i constantly die for what looks like no reason at all but is just delayed damage.

I get that lag is lag, but really i would LOVE to play this game and i want to VERY BADLY but at the moment this lag is taking all the skill and fun out of the game. im forced to just spam whirling blades to avoid damage. no fun.

I saw somewhere that the Singapore gate-ways where severed so if there is some where i can keep up to date on the state of the gate i would like it if some one could link it.

Same here, unable to play due to fps drops.

I am starting to really fucking hate this game!
Simply because I can't play it. Sometimes I get 15 min of gameplay, which is very rare. Usually i am disconected after 2-3 minutes.
There has not been a single fix in the game for that shit. Download this client, download that client..get the fuck out!
What, should I just develop this game on my own?

I quit until it's 100% finished!
