I wish i could turn of knockback on my skills...
" Nobody is forcing you to do anything. Also melee already has a knockback node, it's called fending if i'm not mistaken. Hope this helped. Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

Don't forget that it is also one of those desync inducing skills.
If you want to keep the knocking around aspect, how about turn it into a knockDOWN with a much much lower chance of occurring? Isn't the first thing you would expect if someone was hit by a blunt heavy force is that they get knocked off their feet? |

You kids need to get some of this.
Look, man. Video games are hard, okay?

How dare you suggest something as logical as using a skill that has no knockback. This will not stand on general discussion.
Here on GD we demand changes to the game that only benefit us, other opinions are irrelevant. And if GGG doesn't comply, we threaten to leave!
Spoiler
this thread is laughable at best, now if EVERY melee skill had knockback, yes maybe you had a valid ground to ask a change.

" Nobody intelligent is demanding changes to any skill, at all. Nobody is threatening to leave, nobody is saying opinions are irrelevant, and generally people ask for changes that benefit them because it is a subject they understand best. When you realize that there are already passive tree nodes which provide the ability to "add knockback" to skills, providing the inverse is intuitive design. The game is evolving, they are already adding entirely new skills to the game with minor patches, this is another potential evolution that we are discussing here. I realize you're trying to troll here but you've picked a poor topic to put your efforts on. |

" I am merely playing the devils advocate in this thread, and i am responding with what GGG will answer if presented with this question. I am not trolling, i am applying logic. Imagine asking Chriss : "is it posible to remove/replace knockback on heavy strike sir?" what do you think his response will be? A. No we are terribly sorry but using that skill is an option and there are many alternative options available in our game, also there are more important issue's that need our attention and time at the current moment. B. Yeah why not. Have a go, i'm sure u can figure it out. It's pretty obviues this thread is in the wrong section. And even in the suggestion sub-forum i fear it would sink to the bottom. At least i'm bumping this thread for you with my logical responses. Edit : btw, god you considered that trolling '-.- for real realz? Next time i will make it more obviues. Considering you hate everything about heavy strike anyway, why are you even using it then?

I LOVE THE SKILL. I just wish I could make it work without upsetting my entire party.
How it's done, that's up to GGG, but I'm a fan on OPTIONS. [3.26] ❄️⚡CantripN's Hadoken! - Lightning Conduit Permafreeze⚡❄️ www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3229590 Dernière édition par CantripN#4278, le 5 déc. 2013 à 14:01:35

It is a fundamental part of the skill, otherwise it would be called "strike gem".

" Nah it has 25% stun threshold reduction which is pretty much what you would expect from an heavy strike. They can't replace KB with more stun threshold because they want stunlocking bosses hard to achieve but they could definitely replace KB by stun duration increase which would not make bosses easier to stun but just render succesful stuns more efficient in the defensive department.
