Which server do you play on and who is your ISP?
Trying to run the game through a VPN might help you to get around most of these issues, see this thread - http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/103073/highlight/ - for more details. |

Thank you for the help, but even through the OpenVPN the "networklayer" network is once again causing packet loss..... see below:

" Hey there, Looking at your original trace route: | 176.67.177.228 - 0 | 345 | 345 | 197 | 201 | 271 | 198 | | bbr01.lon01.networklayer.com - 11 | 241 | 215 | 412 | 422 | 456 | 412 | The problem occurs once the connection goes from 176.67.177.228 to the NetworkLayer hop. This can indicate an issue on either side of the connection. However when looking at your latest trace: | 10.9.0.1 - 0 | 24 | 24 | 269 | 453 | 760 | 285 | You're getting some pretty bad latency spikes to the first hop, and as this is the connection going through the VPN, it indicates that you have a poor connection to the VPN service. So the results will likely be worse than without the VPN. In your original trace, the hops were you removed the name, were they voxility.net at all? |

Once again, thank you for the assistance much appreciated. Below you will find my MTR stats directly from my ISP not through OPENVPN. What do you make of this and who should i be talking to. I do find the 2nd last hop quite alarming with 45% packet loss. ***po1.fcr01.sr01.ams01.networklayer.com***

" " Since there are now two of you experiencing this problem and you're both on the same ISP, I'd definitely recommend contacting your provider to see if they can detect any issues. A simple phone call to Mweb should shed some more light on this, and at the same time I'll be looking into this further to see what I can find. Can you two also please send me a PM with your IP addresses? |

I'm getting the same unplayable lag from Networklayer.com hops. Must be a South African thing.

Same issue here - networklayer.com started losing my packets just 30-60 minutes ago. Latency is over 150ms now (was around 40 previously).
Can you please answer: is it a problem on your side (hosting somewhere at that "softlayer") or just my ISP is using some shitty uplinks to get cheap traffic? I will act accordingly. |------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | WinMTR statistics | | Host - % | Sent | Recv | Best | Avrg | Wrst | Last | |------------------------------------------------|------|------|------|------|------|------| | 10.78.40.1 - 0 | 71 | 71 | 2 | 4 | 69 | 3 | | 172.30.78.25 - 0 | 71 | 71 | 2 | 4 | 67 | 2 | | 172.30.78.13 - 0 | 71 | 71 | 3 | 7 | 100 | 8 | | 172.30.98.37 - 0 | 71 | 71 | 1 | 2 | 68 | 3 | | No response from host - 100 | 14 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | 172.30.178.166 - 0 | 71 | 71 | 0 | 4 | 69 | 4 | | 89.221.199.133 - 0 | 64 | 64 | 1 | 402 | 2486 | 20 | | sumtel-gw.spb.rascom.ru - 0 | 71 | 71 | 2 | 6 | 65 | 6 | | gw-sumtel.spb.rascom.ru - 0 | 70 | 70 | 1 | 11 | 127 | 2 | | 80.64.96.30 - 0 | 71 | 71 | 1 | 9 | 63 | 17 | | bbr01.lon01.networklayer.com - 4 | 63 | 61 | 104 | 118 | 452 | 114 | | ae7.bbr02.tg01.lon01.networklayer.com - 8 | 55 | 51 | 105 | 113 | 225 | 113 | | ae0.bbr02.eq01.ams02.networklayer.com - 10 | 51 | 46 | 111 | 118 | 134 | 119 | | ae6.dar02.sr01.ams01.networklayer.com - 4 | 63 | 61 | 109 | 123 | 452 | 118 | | po2.fcr01.sr01.ams01.networklayer.com - 0 | 71 | 71 | 58 | 71 | 197 | 74 | |37.58.67.236-static.reverse.softlayer.com - 17 | 43 | 36 | 109 | 124 | 452 | 117 | |________________________________________________|______|______|______|______|______|______| WinMTR v0.92 GPL V2 by Appnor MSP - Fully Managed Hosting & Cloud Provider Dernière édition par Anubioz#2494, le 1 oct. 2013 à 11:02:37
